Good stop over spot

We just needed a place to park that was on our route home. They were very friendly and set us up with a primitive site (which is what we wanted). It is noisy with the bridge and Hwy right there beside the park. Bathrooms and showers were excellent.

Nice campground

Picked campground for an overnight stay. Right on the River! Little bit of freeway noise, but otherwise very quiet and peaceful. Level gravel sites with grassy area between sites. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean campground.

Bathrooms not great

Campground was very quite. We had a good spot that was facing a big empty green field and no one camped next to us so it was pretty private. We had a grassy area next to our RV but it wasn’t level. Bathrooms weren’t clean and the latches and both of the bathrooms doors were broken so you couldn’t full close them. Power lines everywhere in view, beach was empty but probably gets busy in the summer.

Nice place to go and just relax on your way to your next destination

First of all, the staff is very nice and respectful. The campground is very clean. The bathrooms have showers and are well kept. They provide wifi, water, sewer and power at the sites. It's a bit pricey for being as basic as it is but when you look around at other campgrounds in the area and nationally the price is right in line. Next to Umatilla park so that's a bonus. Marina is just down the hill. Pet friendly. I would stay again.

Nice Park-like setting, because it is.

Just a half mile from I-84, you’ll get a little truck noise but was worth the $34 for an overnight stay.  Pulled In right before 5:00PM on a Sunday and was able to check in before the help went home.  I had made previous reservations so checkin was a snap. Have a 28’ class C with a toad. The pull their site was able to accommodate both vehicles with a problem.  After setup, we walked to the marina and the boat launch with a large parking lot.  Since we only stayed one night, we were not able to see what the area offered.  Gas at several stations right off the freeway. The town is 1.5 miles away from the park.  Would stay here again.

Near the I-82 Bridge Oregon side

There are few campgrounds near Umatilla, OR and when we were there several public facilities were closed. We very rarely ever stay at RV parks but it was getting late and we had just driven on 395 through the snow and fog. There were tent sites available for $20 so we checked in at the office to be assigned our spot. Unfortunately, someone was there who hadn’t paid so we were told to choose another. They had the better spot but we just took another as they were in a tent and probably freezing to death.

During the night, some people camping in their truck would start the engine every hour to keep warm plus the truck traffic over the I-82 bridge was noisy. This was in late October 2020 during a cold snap.

The only good thing is that the flush toilets were clean and you could take showers using coins. There was a key code for the bathrooms and free WiFi. There were shade trees and a nice lawn area, but the area with hookups was further from the traffic.

We would probably not stay here again.

Clean and quiet

The Umatilla Marina & RV Park is a small park on the edge of Oregon and Washington along the Columbia River. The park is clean, well maintained, and has water, electricity, and a dump station.

The marina has a large parking lot and spots to clean fish. There is a nice park and swimming area for kids.

The McNary Dam and Fish window are a few miles down the road and well worth a visit (when open).

Nice campsites, close to the river and beach/cove and Marina

Stayed here for four nights.  Was last week in June so temperatures in the 90's.  Beach/cove is very nice and good place to paddle-board or kayak.  Didn't use restrooms but the rest of the campground was clean and tidy.  Not much traffic within the campground.  Some interstate noise but not bad.  Full hook-ups, picnic table and shade trees.  Check-in staff was very friendly.
