Getting there requires driving past the truck stop and casino before turning north toward the golf course access road, so first-time arrivals should account for a bit of extra navigation. Sites accommodate rigs up to 60 feet and include electric, water, and sewer connections on gravel pads with groomed lawn and a picnic table at each spot.
Site quality varies depending on location within the park. Perimeter sites tend to have better grass and more separation, while interior spots can feel cramped, with tables occasionally sitting within a few feet of a neighboring sewer drain. Light pollution is noticeable throughout the RV area, and both freeway traffic and early-morning truck movement contribute to ambient noise, particularly at sites near the entrance road. Campers who want a quieter experience consistently mention the west-side sites near the green space as a better choice.
The resort adds options that go well beyond a standard overnight stop. A free shuttle runs to the casino and the golf course clubhouse. The casino complex houses multiple restaurants, a food court, and movie theaters. Theresa O. notes the property also has "golf, museum, movies, walking trails, nature and special events," and a pool and hot tub are available to campers. The bathrooms and showers are located near the office, which can mean a longer walk from far-end sites, though Tim G. found them "clean and modern." A laundry room is also on site.
Access is entirely paved and maneuverable, with pull-through sites that handle large rigs without difficulty. A fuel station and convenience store sit on the property, and the City of Pendleton is roughly ten minutes west for additional resupply. Reservations are accepted, pets are welcome, and the Arrowhead Travel Plaza I-84 is a short distance south for travelers who want a simpler overnight alternative. Campers passing through on I-84 who want more amenities than a basic travel plaza will find this a functional and well-maintained stop worth considering.
