I really wish these guys had a franchise of RV parks, because they are awesome! The owners are just the coolest, very easy-going, so friendly, and they keep up on the place real nice. Prices are very reasonable for RVs, sewage water electric all available at most spots. Beautiful little area with lots of trees to keep you cool. I also love the place because they don't have a bunch of long term tenants, that can really be a bummer sometimes. The best halfway point if you're traveling a long ways on I-Five. I will definitely be coming again.
Seven Feathers Casino, not too south of Roseburg Oregon, has two nice options for RVs near their casino. First is the "RV Resort" which has an indoor pool, very nice pull-through sports, etc. and will run you around $100/night.
Or, you can follow signs to the "dry" RV camping just on the east side of the casino. As far as free casino spots go, this is a pretty nice one. No construction, not too bad for highway noise all things considered. There's even a large green grassy area if you want to get out and stretch your legs.
It's for self-contained RVs only, so make sure you have water, bathrooms etc., though you can also eat dinner or what-have-you at the casino. Maximum of five days stay. Generators are prohibited 10pm-7am, which helps keep the noise down.
Very nice RV Park. Ladies at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. Good WiFi, cable and AT&T cell service. Concrete pads level to park the camper on. We had a back in slot but there were pull-thrus also, full campground. Clean bathroom / shower. More long term campers than I expected but all were very friendly. Next to Hwy 101 but didnt notice much traffic noise. No playground for the kids but there was a open area to throw some baseballs around. Visited during circles in the sand. Great beach to explore.
Close to Port Orford - check out the Crazy Norwegian for some great eats in town! Quiet, clean and very well done. Sites are on the med- small side. Great location and price for exploring the area. Just over $40 per night with Good Sam discount for electric and water. They have full hook ups also. Dump station on site. Laundry and games rooms. Very clean bathrooms.
The great thing about this place is that it's great for both tent and rv. The rv campers will love the easy access and set up. The spots are spaced apart giving everyone as much room as you can have on an rv park.
I will say that you can hear the freeway traffic from the campground but it's not a show stopper for most people. Full hook ups and some pull through sites which are level and paved.
We didn't stay here, but we checked it out while staying at Beachfront RV across the street.
All sites are full hookup, with 30 and 50 amp power, cable, and wifi.
There is laundry and free showers on site. $49/night with monthly and long term rates available. Your RV must be 10 years or newer, or you can send them a photo if you have a vintage or older RV.
The park is located in the busy port area, with cars driving by, people coming and going to the day use area to go fishing and hang out at the beach, the coast guard station across the street, as well as several restaurants and gift shops in easy walking distance.
Cell reception is good in this area for all 3 carriers.
We have visited Turtle Rock RV Resort twice and both times it was a very positive experience. Some of the sites are a little close, but if you do your research and reserve a space early, you can get a great space. We love being right on Hunter Creek. A short walk to the beach. A short to the Mexican restaurant next to the campground office. Good food, reasonable prices, and a friendly staff. We attended the annual music festival which is held there and it was great! We always use full hookups so I can't comment on the bathrooms and showers. Campground was clean and they even watered the dirt road to keep the dust down. Staff was very helpful and friendly on the phone and in person. Their web site is easy to use for choosing your space. We plan on return trips often.
My family and I come here every winter and stay for 5 months..this place is great. It has big RV spaces. Bathrooms and 3 showers as well as a laundromat that isn't expensive to wash and dry your clothes. Has a clubhouse as my daughter puts it that has tv you can watch cable on, a stove and microwave, sink, a few tables with chairs, bookshelf with lots of books and puzzles your able to use, as well as a fire place to keep it warm in there. Everything is clean here and they clean it daily. Everyone who stays here all have seemed very nice. The people who run this place are amazing so friendly and will help you if there is something that needs done at you space you're staying in. Has full hook ups and they offer cable and internet for your RV space. Your definitely going to enjoy your stay here. It's open all year round.
Well kept RV resort. Level concrete pads, good wifi, nice pool. Not a rustic campground so may not be a good match for those wanting to roast a marshmallow. Recommended!
Verizon: 96 down, 15 up T-Mobile: 82 down, 10 up
Popular state park on the banks of the Rogue River in Southern Oregon. Numerous RV camp loops with cement pads. Full-Hook-ups available, though sites are close together. There are a few that are near the shoreline of the river. Tent camping also available on-site, though the whole campground is near I-5 in that the main entrance is through a rest area. That said, it’s a well loved and well used park with nice facilities. When we were there the camp host was hosting a cool junior ranger program complete with a tent of nature artifacts and activities for the kids.
Stayed at the Seven Feathers RV resort for a few nights rest and to play bingo!!! Love there bingo hall!! They have a shuttle bus service that picks you up and drops you off at your RV/trailer. The park is really clean surrounded by mountains. Huge enclosed dog park. The pool and spa was closed due to Covid but sitting outside was so peaceful!!
This campground is right next to the Rouge River. There is a beautiful day use area with lots of picnic tables and a neat gazebo. You can swim, boat, float, or sun tan by the river.Plenty if recreational activities on this river. Tent and trailer camps spots are available with. Bathrooms, showers, and hookups also available at this open year round campground. Well maintained and is a perfect spot along the river.
Just spectacular RV resort. Check-in can be slow at peak hours but customer service is outstanding. Plenty to do in the area
Close RV hookups and lots of traffic. Close to town. Seperate fenced hike and bike area next to garbage dumpster. Nice lockers where you can store valuables and charge batteries. Yurts!
We don't frequent casinos but needed a place to stop for a night. The RV Resort is actually far enough off the highway that you don't get much road noise. And if you really want quiet, you could request a spot between #71 to #174 - these are even further back are quiet.
The spacing between sites is comfortable with flowering shrubs throughout the area.
The best maintained, well kept RV resort you will find. Right on the beautiful Rogue River and just a few minutes drive to the town of Gold Beach. Very quiet and great for fishing or just watching the river sweep by. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in keeping a serene and clean resort. Would love to come back and spend more time fishing and exploring the area.
Clean and roomy spots.
Some full hook ups.
Have a 22ft trailer and for just fine.
Sell firewood on site.
Beautiful riverfront park area.
Very clean park.
Looking for shade in the summer? Looking to camp on the river? Riverpark RV Resort is your answer. We have camped here 8 years before bing hired as camp hosts. We continue to live here at Riverpark and love helping our summer campers enjoy their stay in Grants Pass.
Believe me, the pictures on the website are really true and that is what the park looks like. 25 sites are right on the Rogue River. We are definitely the best park in Grants Pass.
Great host, they upgraded us to a river front space. Trees and shade on most spaces. Full hook ups and Wifi. Level with gravel drive and grass.
Honey Bear by the Sea RV Resort and Campground is awesome! It has your new age camp sites for those who need to be close enough to the lodge for WiFi and had camp sites out in a valley for those who love good ol fashion camping! Great bathrooms/showers except the port a potties out in the valley campsites don’t get a lot of attention so we had to walk up to the lodge for the bathroom. Other than that, great Customer service and beautiful campsite. Right next to the Oregon coast highway so all you have to do is walk to the shore! Definitely going again.
Stayed long term here and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful, grounds are well kept and tidy. Bathrooms and laundry rooms are clean and in great shape. Near to shopping and sightseeing as well as many other attractions.
Most of the people staying here are long term, when we stayed there was some drama between residents and it seems some shady people tend to frequent the area. Perks are laundry, showers and bathrooms on site. Not a great place if you’re looking to get out Into nature but Grants Pass has some fun seasonal events such as boatnik with fireworks, boat racing and carnival rides/food. Pretty river town but I’ve stayed at nicer places for the same price.
Local highlights include: All sports park, boatnik, car cruises, wildlife images.
It has full hook ups, drive thru spaces, laundry and showers. Its a nice place
There is absolutely no signage and very confusing trying to find our spot. The facility is beautiful with sites tucked into the trees and overall well maintained. There are a ton of long term campers in really prime spots. Overall okay and in a good location. 3 stars for the price and difficulty navigating the property.
Nice RV park with lots of amenities and activities. The sites are weirdly situated, with a row of small spaces all along the fence ($25/night), and several circles throughout the center where multiple RVs share the same gazebo & sink ($33/night). We didn't check out the tent area.
Popular place to come fishing and everyone was very social and out and about.
We paid $26/night (with tax) for a full hookup site along the fence. We didn't have a reservation and were able to get a spot that day.
The place has a cute old timey rustic design throughout.
Good cell reception.
Lots of amenities here:
- laundry ($1 wash, $2 dry)
- sauna (currently closed)
- clean showers
- book exchange
- pool tables
- small market
- nearby hikes along the river
- cafe on site
- games and game room
- recycling
- tent sites and separate tent area
- free wifi and cable
This run down little campground is one of our favorites. It’s split into two sides: 1 side is the regular tightly packed RV park with full hookups and an age limitation of 20 years for your RV. Next to the RV park is a small cute mobile home community, as well as some rental units that were under construction when we were there in the summer. On the other side of the mobile homes is the boondock/ tent side. There are water spigots at each site, some dilapidated wobbly picnic tables that are barely standing, and some rocks formed into a small makeshift fire pit. There are also showers and toilets on this side. The whole boondock side looks like an abandoned drive-in movie theater. Add to that the super friendly staff and the old hotel and restaurant that are closed and abandoned and look haunted, and you have such a unique and oddly charming place to stay.
Smaller RVs have the option of staying in one of several waterfront sites, which are tucked away from the main areas and are out almost on the beach. Sadly, our 26ft Class C is too big to camp in one of those sites.
The RV park side is expensive, at approx $55/night, but they offer a Passport America discount at 50% off for one night. The laundry and showers are clean. There is a community room with a great water view and there’s also a book exchange in the room. The boondock side is around $27/night, not cheap, especially considering the lack of amenities, but we love it anyway. We love the boondock side much more than the RV park side. It’s generally deserted, plenty of space all around you, and it’s so quiet and peaceful. The beach is a short walk away, and you can walk all the way along the beach along the Smith River to where it meets the ocean. There is an amazing amount of wildlife and tide pools here. We saw so many otters, sea lions, osprey, pelicans, and even a herd of elk one early morning.
Cell service is good here, and the park’s wifi (on the RV park side) wasn’t bad. There are trash dumpsters throughout the park and one large mixed recycling bin near the entrance. You can also get propane here.
I've camped at several state parks in Oregon and Cape Blanco is my favorite! It is situated above a beautiful beach with an access road straight from the campground. The sites are spacious and trees provide a good amount of privacy between the sites. There is a wooded trail that leads to the nearby historic lighthouse where you can enjoy amazing views up and down the coast. There are bathrooms with hot showers onsite, which is a plus after enjoying time at the beach. The campground offers RV hookups, but note the dump station was not in service during our visit in June 2021. This campground also has a horse camp with newer corrals, bathroom and miles of equestrian trails. We stayed in one of the cute rustic cabins for half of our stay and in our camper van for the remainder. Looking forward to future stays at Cape Blanco State Park!
