Lovely Stay!!

A lovely RV park. Their cashier was lovely. She was kind, sweet, and very pleasant. She put me in a lovely pull through. It is a little tight, but that was just fine for me since I traveled alone, I felt safe and secure being a single woman in this park. The facilities are nice and clean. Laundromat open 24 hrs. Wifi was mediocre! Affordable!!! Highly recommend!!!

Tent camping available

They had a backpacking section for tent camping. Kinda far from the rest of camp and not very private. Good overall.

Clean, spacious, well managed park

Called from down the road. Lady was very cheerful and helpful and knowledgeable. Check in was great -they gave us options and let us pick our space. This is a very well managed park. Well laid out and easily maneuverable for even large rigs. The roads are paved and some camp spots are paved but there are also some gravel spots. Roads are smooth and everything is manicured nicely.. there was a small army of mowers and trimmers detailing out the grounds when we arrived. We got a full hookup and everything worked properly they even had a cable TV connection. Wi-Fi was decent and worked properly. I see another review said that there is no laundry but they're actually is a nice laundry on site at this time. Please note the dirt shows this campground on the Riverside of the road and it's actually a cross on the other side away from the river.. just a mile off the main 101 highway. Lots of trees very nice location and beautiful. We were in spot l14 and there's a small Creek running by. The office is also a well stocked store with many of the consumables necessary for RVs. They also have a really nice selection of wagyu beef locally grown that seems to be very popular and sells rapidly. Definitely would recommend this park. Very reasonably priced at $45 for a full hookup at the time of this review. We will put this on our list of keepers and we'll stay here again if we come through the area again.

In a pinch

Camped here as there was a storm coming from the south and wanted more protection then the beach. Office was closed til 1/6/21 so was self check in. Phone #’s were given if you had questions and got responses quickly. A little run down, sites are tight, could step on picnic table as you opened your door. Love the 5 wild turkeys that greeted me as I opened the door in the morning. Don’t think I would come again unless I had to in a pinch.

Last minute stop

I snagged a tent site same day, Sunday night of Labor Day weekend. Super thankful to have a place for the night, but the tent sites are super small & on top of each other. I’m glad I can sleep in my Tacoma because I have a little more of a sound barrier and privacy.

Cramped and Crowded, but Cheap

Nice RV park with lots of amenities and activities.  The sites are weirdly situated, with a row of small spaces all along the fence ($25/night), and several circles throughout the center where multiple RVs share the same gazebo & sink ($33/night).  We didn't check out the tent area.

Popular place to come fishing and everyone was very social and out and about.

We paid $26/night (with tax) for a full hookup site along the fence. We didn't have a reservation and were able to get a spot that day.

The place has a cute old timey rustic design throughout.

Good cell reception.

Lots of amenities here:

 - laundry ($1 wash, $2 dry)

- sauna (currently closed)

- clean showers

- book exchange

- pool tables

- small market

- nearby hikes along the river

- cafe on site

- games and game room

- recycling

- tent sites and separate tent area

- free wifi and cable

Not what we were expecting

After many years of eating at the Indian Creek Cafe I was very excited to try camping here. Unfortunately it was not what we had hoped. I can’t say much other than we pulled in to our spot and promptly left. It was one of the spots in a circle, which is 5-6 sites in a circle around a group of picnic tables. No grass or privacy, or spot to park your car. I may give them another try, but will make sure to ask for more details on the site before reserving. On the plus side, they do have wonderful breakfasts at the cafe, a ping pong table for the kids, and fantastic staff.

popular spot by the river

This campground has it all. Full hookups, a store, a great little cafe, bathrooms, picnic tables, ect. The campground is located next to the Rouge River which is just on the other side of the road. Also located near the town of Gold Beach. The spot is beautiful and well kept. Lots of recreational activities on the river and near the ocean. The only downside is that it fills up fast and is a little bit more crowded especially during the salmon fishing seasons. Popular campground that is great for families.
