Lovely stay, simple and easy

Great camp sites, spaced out pretty decently. Fire pits, picnic tables, a paved loop, pit toilet, and potable water all on site. The noise from the river helps cover up most of the sound from the neighbors, but the closeness to the road means engine noise and headlights flashing your camp at 2am. The river access is a bit hard unless you get one of the few camp sites on the bank.

Highly recommend this as a quick camping trip for a few days or a night. Don't expect the isolation of the great outdoors, but lots of tall trees and river sounds make for a peaceful place to kick back.

Near water, no hookups, great for camping

There is a long-term campground host who lives in this camp. Since it's first-come first-served it may be hard to get a spot on weekends, but it's nice, generally quiet.

It's a small camp, which helps keep it quiet. There's water at the entrance of camp, and a clean vault toilet near the middle. The river runs along the camp too.
