Anglers and boaters find direct lake access at this Army Corps of Engineers campground on Eufaula Lake's northern shore. The 49-site facility operates seasonally from April through September, with electric and water hookups accommodating RVs up to 50 feet. Most sites sit under mature trees that provide substantial shade during Oklahoma's hot summers.
The campground features a boat ramp, marina, and swimming beach within walking distance of campsites. Several waterfront sites offer direct views across the lake, while interior sites provide more space for larger rigs. "IA lot of water sites with wonderful views," notes N I., who also mentions that fishing tournaments are common on this 102,500-acre reservoir. The bathhouse and shower facilities show their age but remain functional, though some reviewers report limited ventilation during peak summer heat.
Access requires navigating Texanna Road, which campers consistently describe as narrow with significant potholes for the first few miles. The road improves closer to the campground entrance. Weekend periods see heavy boat traffic, and sites fill quickly during peak season. For expanded options in the region, campers can explore camping near Eufaula Lake throughout the broader area.
Reservations are accepted and recommended for summer weekends when the facility reaches capacity.
