Eufaula Lake - COE/Elm Point Not closed

Part of the US Army Corps of Engineers' Eufaula Lake system, Elm Point operates seasonally from March through October with 22 sites offering electric hookups. The campground sits well off the main highway without roadside signage, making the turn easy to miss despite clear directions in COE publications. Some sites accommodate pull-through RVs on a first-come, first-served basis.

Recent visitor reports indicate conflicting conditions at the listed GPS coordinates, with one camper finding a residential area rather than an active campground. The facility includes standard amenities like drinking water, restrooms, a dump station, and picnic tables, with campfires and pets permitted. Campers seeking alternatives might consider Juniper Point, located northwest on the same lake system.

I spy A Missing COE

Open all year 22 Sites with electric Some pull thrus First Come First Serve

This COE campground was easy to find but also hard to find. In the COE parks book it gives good directions if you follow them. The problem comes from the fact that there is not a sign on the Highway and the camp sits far enough off the road that unless you are looking you will miss the turn.

No longer a campground

I pulled into the location provided and there is a housing development here with mobile homes and rvs that looks as though they have been here a while. This is no longer a campground at the gps provided.
