This is a really large and very nice campground near Franklin, NC that caters to both RV and tent campers. They have a ton of sites and several bathroom facilities. Most of the sites have a gravel area for parking and grassy space for a tent. They each have a picnic table and fire pit as well. This…

This is a great little RV and tent campground located near High Falls. The campground itself is alongside Lake Glenville and provides easy access for putting in boats, fishing, or swimming. It is also not far from the wonderful beach on the lake where everyone goes to picnic. The campground itself…

Located beside the Tuckaseegee River, this is a great family campground if you don’t require a swimming pool or recreation activities offered by some of the larger franchise campgrounds. It does have swimming and fishing opportunities and a great family atmosphere. There are several places along…

I have never stayed a more kid friendly campground than this one. There are craft activities for children and even a“mining” experience. The children’s recreation building is adjacent to restrooms, the arcade, and a playground. The recreation director was working with some children when I visited…

Years ago, my wife and I stayed at this campground in a cabin beside Raven Fork River. If I’m not mistaken, the one we were at this time was either the same cabin or one close to it. It is perfectly situated beside the river. There are several types of cabins (Kamping Kabins) with various…

This is our second visit to this campground. We like it so much our second visit is for a 30 day duration to escape the heat of the Atlanta ares. Grounds are very well maintained, the office staff is very professional, and quiet hours are respected. Great central location and wonderful for day…
This is a wonderful family campground with lots of activities for kids including tubing, trout fishing, swimming, and an arcade. But the most amazing part was that we saw Synchronous fire flies in late July. It was a once in a lifetime experience!
Had a great site where everyone was quiet and very friendly. No power but water was nearby for use. Hosts very very nice and stopped by to say hello! Can’t wait to return!
It sure is! A little piece of heaven.

Serene and quiet. Loved this state park camp site. Close to the water and a wonderful visitor venter!
The campground is in a good location to many areas. The sites are a little close to each other but that understandable for that large of a campground. The thing that was a drag was no one was ever in the office and no ice or wood was available.

Clean, beautiful camp ground with pool & hot tub. Quiet. It was a bit of a squeeze with our 42’ RV.
Very clean and we'll run. Older couple own it and they are wonderful and very helpful. A great place to stop for a few say, a week or a month to explore the area. Road is paved, site are nice and our 40' MH fit nicely. They guide you to your site. Fire ring, picnic table, 50 amp. Peace and quiet.…
We'd give it 5 stars, but the bathrooms need updating and could be cleaner. Sites up from the bath house up the rising peninsula section are our favorites. Becoming fairly busy in summer, due to all of us writing such good reviews. Shhh!
Had and idea at 2 am the night before to go camping. Next morning packed up and head here. Found this nice place. I’m kinda reluctant to tell people about it because it a small paradise nestled along the banks. I’ve never really enjoyed the mountains, but after staying here I do t think I’ll ever…
