We had a really tough visit for a family camping trip! we purchased these amazing attached camping tents that you can put a pop-up in between. We assembled our super tent and quickly realized that the wind was not going to allow us to do anything that we had planned. We then proceeded to have the…
Check in was easy, they escorted us to our site and helped us get settled. A stones throw to the beach. Clean and quiet.
Ended up coming here for the KOA customer appreciation weekend and very glad I made the trip out to the Outer Banks, great park and very cool surroundings.
When we first arrived, we thought this campground was amazing. Then we realized the bathhouse nearest to us was being renovated. It’s good it was being renovated, ultimately, but was a bummer for us, and left me wishing we had requested a different site closer to an open bathhouse.
Such an amazing place. Very quiet, fishing pond, clean swimming pool, and gorgeous views.
First let me say that I stayed in a tent. It’s still very warm at night. So bring a big fan.
Now on to the campground. The sites are big. They have a big driveway and offer plenty of room to spread out.
The restrooms/showers are very nice! Very clean, offer great privacy and the air…
Convenient campground located next to the ferry to get to Ocracoke. Great place for a quick stop before you head over to the island. The science are pretty tight. Amenities are slim. There are no signs for the office or to get in the campground. We took a horseback ride and had a great time. Horses…

No frill amenities. Great location close to town. Some site will hold water in lots of rain so be on the lookout. Nice bathhouse and outdoor shower. Great owners, very helpful!
Stayed here for a night, loved it, it was a minute walk to the beach through some beautiful sand dunes and then you had pretty much the place to yourself. I will say how I was camping the lack of shade made it frustrating to stay at my campsite. (I was on a motorcycle, so no shade was available for…
The sight had a great view of the water and for sunsets, the sunrise was a 5 min walk across the road with the beach right there as well. Walking distance to pretty much anywhere (they also have bike rentals if you so wished)
If your looking for things to do, this isn't your place. If your looking for peace and quiet, somewhere to relax this is definitely a great place. There is 1 restaurant near the campground amd that is it. Theres a gas station a mile away that sells some grocery items. This place isnt for 16 &…

To small campsites rude camp host overcharged
Lots of amenities and close within 30min to Cape Hatteras lighthouse and The Wright Brothers memorial. We stayed on the ocean side and loved it. Great Friendly staff. Definitely will stay again.
This is a review from our stay in non peek season and before local businesses opened from COVID so information other than the park is limited.
My family and I stayed here for a week and had a great time!
- Sites are paved and very spacious. Not 1 bad site.
- We stayed on the beach side and…
I love that they have quiet hour and people actually abided by it. Everything is nice and clean, on the water. Family friendly, and I highly recommend
