We stayed two nights, 3 & 4 July. The park was very full and our campsite was at the very back of the park, but our "back yard" ran right to the edge of the woods so we were very secluded.
The park staff had our credentials ready when we arrived, and there was even a "Welcome" sign with our name at our site!
This is a very nice campground on Grand Island, only a few miles from Niagara Falls on the American side. Our site was a back-in site bit was easy to get my rig in.
The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable, the price was high but not unexpected considering the location. Our site was pleasantly shaded with rubbish bins a short walk away across the road.
We've stayed at a lot of KOA sites over the years and this one is as pleasant as expected. It is an excellent campground for families. The sites for large rigs are very close together but that is not surprising. Our site was clean and reasonably level but there was no shade at all. We were comfortable, though, after putting out the awning and setting up our portable gazebo.
The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and came by our site twice to see if we needed anything, which was an unnecessary but pleasant surprise.
Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff, well maintained and pleasantly arranged spaces. There ere a lot of campers set up when we were there but we never felt crowded.
We were very pleased with the knowledgeable and friendly staff, we had no problem getting a nice paved spot for our 34' class A, and they even provided a small treat for our Schnauzer.
