Daisy Barn Campground

Absolutely stunning campground, our phone service does not really work here (Verizon) and the internet did not work last night either, but as long as you have star link I’m sure you will be fine. And internet is working fine this morning. Loved this little piece of heaven on the lake!

I have not stayed here-The reservation was for late June 2026

I reserved a one night primitive site for $65.30 and canceled 104 days in advance due to a change in travel plans. I was initially sent a receipt showing a refund would be issued, but it never showed up.

When I called, I was told by Kim that the full payment was considered a “non-refundable deposit,” even though it was the entire cost of the stay. After pushing back, I was told by Kim that a credit would be issued - but I still have not received anything.

It was also difficult to get in touch with someone by phone.

Cancelling more than three months in advance should give them plenty of time to rebook the site. The way their refund policy was explained feels more like a revenue tactic than a fair policy.

Very quiet and clean. There are lots of friendly seasonal campers. This campground is a nice Base Camp while visiting Niagara Falls.

This campground is clearly well-maintained. Everything was tidy and clean, from our campsite, laundry room, showers, bathroom, camp store, and walking paths. My only complaint is that all campsites do NOT have a view of Lake Ontario. However, it’s just a short walk to a nice grassy area to overlook it. There were several more tent sites available, but this is definitely a campground that caters to seasonal campers/RVs. Only 25 min. outside of Niagara Falls so we were able to get there early. Also, the owner was very responsive.

This was a beautiful campground right on Lake Ontario. You could even see Toronto from the shore. The host was super accommodating when we realized our assigned spot was close to the road. He allowed us to pick another, further from the road and closer to both bathrooms and the lake. We arrived on the day of the eclipse, so they were having a little hot dog roast that was very cute. Bathrooms were big, clean and heated. There was a pool, but still closed for the season. Between the camp spots and the lake was a giant green space- awesome for throwing a ball around with your pup! 🐾

Very well kept campground. Owners on site and attentive. Walking distance to Lake Ontario, you can see Toronto on a clear day.

This campground is not for everyone, as it’s mostly long term campers and pull-alongs. It is set right on beautiful Lake Ontario, across from the Toronto skyline. It’s a quiet simple pretty place.
