Great Secluded Campground

I spent the weekend here mid September. It was a nice place. Quiet and secluded. On the creek side, every campsite has trails leading to the creek. There is a vault restroom if needed, each site has a paved parking spot big enough for my truck and 25ft camper. I would say it could fit up to…

Beautiful and amazing

My fiancé and I stayed here over the weekend and had such a great experience!! Our camp site was right on the river with a beautiful view of the spring. The staff is extremely welcoming and makes you feel right at home. We did a 5 mile float which was the perfect length and very scenic. Highly…

Great easy stay for our van!

Close to Route 66, easy turn off …5-6 minutes up the road.
Great service, quiet. By a lovey pond and down a ramp to the river for canoeing or tubing. Nice shower house. Good stay!

Good place to stop for the night

We stayed here one night, just passing through. Convenient to I40, nice and clean new toilets and showers. We had site #23 - clean, with power, water, picnic table and fire pit. Everything we needed for one night.

Some things to know that didn’t negatively impact our trip too much: This…

Awesome service

We called ahead and arrived 45 minutes after their closing time. The gentleman at the office cheerfully guided us to our campsite. It is blissfully quiet. Nothing but icadas, crickets and quiet laughter from the camp next to us.

Off the beaten path

For starters the RV park is about 1/4 down a 1 lane gravel road so if you’re pulling a big rig you better hope you don’t meet another vehicle. All the 50 amp full hookup sites seem to be in use by permanent residents. The 30 amp sites are not on level ground. No water or sewer connections for…

WPA beauty!

Loggers Lake, in the Mark Twain National Forest, is about 7 miles west of Bunker, Mo. Spring fed lake, no electric or water campsites. There is a maintained M/F restroom on the site, and a water spigot close to the restroom. All sites have a fire ring and a picnic table. GORGEOUS!

Big Rig Friendly

This is a no thrills campground. We stayed two nights with no issues. The water pressure is low, about 40 psi. No office but they do answer the phone. Nice fir a one night stop over.

Great for those who want to be alone

This is an olen camping area as it’s in a conversation area. There are no sites you just pick your spot. We had a great time exploring the outdoors- saw no other people and only heard nature and airplanes

Can’t wait to come back!

This may be one of my favorite campsites!! Our campsite was very private and I appreciated the cart the park supplied to move our gear to the site. We had some skunk visitors overnight. There’s a great River to swim in, phenomenal ranger led programs, a great playground and nice trails. It makes…

Bad bad bad

My family of 9 visit eminence Missouri yearly to kayak the river and spend time together. This year we decided to stay at Apple Jacks 21 which is owned along with rivers edge. We booked our reservation far in advance and even called July 10th to confirm our stay and were told by the owner directly…

Group Site 2

We’ve been floating here for 6 years now and we’ve only ever used the group sites 2 & 3. Each site is spacious and plenty of hammock trees and little corners for tents if you want a little privacy from the group. You also have a trail that leads down to a little private beach area on the river…

Great, super clean

Ozark Farms Family Campground was great!!! Easy to get into, flat gravel pad, with picnic table, fire pit and full hookups. We had the larger 50 amp site #3. We did not use the shower house but it looked nice and clean. The bounce house was a huge hit for my 7 year old. I was surprised to…
