Staying in tent area with campervan. 26 dollars a night. Good spot. You do hear the highway a bit. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Bathhouse is basic but does the job.

Graham Cave
Graham Cave State Park could be a lovely campground but is in dire need of updating everything. The campsites are very uneven and the bathhouses are partially working. The campground host, however, was very friendly and diligent. The trails were well kept but unfortunately it was so dry the river was very low.

Ray Behrens Recreational
Ray Behrens Campground
We enjoyed our stay at the Ray Behrens Recreational Area in October. Reservations must be made on line but we were able to pick our site first and then reserve. Cell service is good there. Being shoulder season the beach was closed but the marina was open and the Mark Twain Lake was stunning. It was quiet but during season it seemed likely to be very crowded. The sites were decently spaced especially on the outer loops. Our one complaint is the lack of toilets, they are very far away from some of the sites. If you want to experience some local flair, stop at the Route J Market for a bite to eat.

Wonderful hideaway with GREAT Verizon 5G coverage in campground
I will simply confirm all the good things said about this campground. We spent 3 nights in electric site 48 and had great Verizon 5G coverage. My speed test results > 300 Mbps download and 22Mbps upload.
So if you want to stream TV you can, if you have to work you can. If you want to just stay off the grid you can.

Good over night stay
We can rough it. This is a wooded campground with fire pits and worn out wooden picnic tables. I saw outhouses but didn’t look inside. It has electricity and water pumps where you can get water. In the heat all I care about is electricity for air conditioning. It is an old campground in need of TLC. But at $21 for seniors, I can’t complain. We are just passing through
