Marshall I. Diggs Conservation Area

Water access drives most visits to Marshall I. Diggs Conservation Area, a free Missouri Department of Conservation site with boat ramps serving nearby lakes. The designated camping area consists of a small parking lot that works best for car camping setups rather than larger RVs or trailers.

Basic amenities include toilets, and campers can build fires while keeping pets on leash. The conservation area sits in rural Montgomery County, where visitors often combine their stay with trips to Graham Cave State Park Campground or explore camping spots around Montgomery City. The limited facilities and compact camping space make this spot suitable for anglers and boaters seeking overnight access rather than extended stays.

Not idea for camping

Very small parking lot that is supposed to be a designated camping area, not ideal unless car camping. Has nice lakes with boat ramps but that’s about it.
