    Cajun RV Park

    Nice amenities

This campground is situated just across the road from Biloxi Beach. There are several amenities that make this the perfect place to camp and is reasonably priced. The only con is the go cart track next door can be loud so get a site away from it.

We stayed here two nights at this lovely park across the street from Biloxi Beach. The location is fantastic. We had a back in site, but they let us pull through anyway. Thanks! There's a nice pool, showers and laundry, several pavilions for picnics. Definitely a nice place to stay when locating on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

    Parkers Landing RV Park

    Nice Little Park

This is a nice little park. Not fancy, but friendly and quiet. The office people were really nice and very accomodating. Has a small pool, showers/restrooms, and laundry. There are maybe 50% fulltime residents, but we were there for two months and never heard/saw any drama or trouble. People were friendly and kept mainly to themselves. Park has lots of shade from beautiful live oak trees and has a waterfront area that is very pretty. No dog park, but plenty of places to walk your leashed pet. There is a boat ramp around the corner and I believe the waterway connects to the river. The park is older, and some of the cement pads are cracked and heaving, but looked like people were able to level up. They mow and trim regularly, so things were neat. This isn't a new fancy park, but it was nice and quiet and we liked it. We had site 64 which was a great really long pull thru with full hookups. Our Verizon reception was good. They offer reasonable weekly and monthly prices as well as nightly. The park is off Exit 41 of I-10 about halfway between D'Iberville/Biloxi exit and Gulfport exit (both have tons of shopping). Local area has tons to do...casinos, beaches, about an hour and quarter to New Orleans, Shuckers baseball, plus tons of great food.

    Gulf Beach RV Resort

    Good for RV spot overnight

Stayed here because it was so close, literally a block away, from the Mississippi Colosseum, for granddaughters cheer competition. We checked it and were greeted at arrival, with information packet. FHU, back-in concrete pad, and small dog park. A nice clubhouse and facilities, although we did not use. Directly across the street from the beach, perfect for photos. Clean pool but too cold to use. Very close to neighbors and backed up to apts, which the garbage truck came super early on Sat, dumpster on other side of fence. We were up early, but if you like relaxing and peacefulness, probably not my choice. Close to lots of area attractions, stores and restaurants. Many closed for off season, however. Waffle House next door to RV park. Good for short stay!

    Shepard State Park Campground

    Lots to do here!

The primitive campsite was very nice. Even though the park was a bit crowded we still had privacy. The dog park was perfect for our two large dog, very clean. My toddler had a very easy time walking around which was a huge plus!  The marsh trails were perfect for viewing wildlife. 10/10, would recommend!

Bay Hide Away RV Park And Campground

    Roomy sites and great service

We were arriving a day early and stuck in bad storms. Thank goodness they had space! The sites were very roomy and level. Utilities were near each other for easy set up. The park had a good sized dog park and lots of green space to play frisbee golf or walk.

    Shields RV Park

    2 parks 2 different feels

Lived in the front park for 6 months. Busy with outside traffic and trains. Park in the back of base is newer and nicer. 20x40 level concrete pads. Secluded from the rest of base. Little fishing pods and trails from old golf course. Bath house with 4 separate rooms with toilets and showers. Washer and dryer. Near giant voice speaker so you won’t sleep in past 8am any day and you’ll hear any emergency. Only way out is tricky during pt hours in the morning with all the runners. Large dog park a short walk away.

Guide to Biloxi

Pet friendly camping near Biloxi, Mississippi centers primarily around the coastal areas along Highway 90 and inland waterways. The region maintains a humid subtropical climate with mild winters where temperatures rarely drop below 40°F and hot summers that typically reach 90°F. Most campgrounds in the area sit at near sea level elevation with limestone or concrete pads that provide stable surfaces during occasional coastal storms.

What to do

Beach access from camp: Cajun RV Park sits directly across from Biloxi Beach, making it convenient for campers with pets. "We stayed for 2 days. It's a great spot if you want to walk to the beach or cruise down the strip. Everyone in town was friendly to us," notes J M.

Waterfront activities: Gulf Beach RV Resort provides beach access within walking distance. "The real draw is the beach just across the street, and the casinos down the road. Keesler AFB is just locks away," explains Tod S., highlighting the proximity to multiple attractions.

Nature trails exploration: Visitors to Davis Bayou Campground can enjoy wildlife viewing on marked paths. "There's plenty of walking trails, and you can check out the gator alley area where you'll typically see at least one gator," shares Kaylin R., noting that "it's far enough in the woods to where you don't hear much of the city traffic."

What campers like

Convenient beach proximity: Many campers appreciate the short distance to Gulf waters. "You can walk a block to the beach, bring a wagon to haul your beach gear or drive as there is parking at the beach," explains RICK V. about Gulf Beach RV Resort.

Clean facilities: Majestic Oaks RV Resort receives consistent praise for maintenance standards. "Bath room/showers we some of the best I have seen! Pool was pretty with plenty of chairs," notes robin F., adding there are "nice places to walk a dog and even a place to let them run."

Group camping options: Davis Bayou offers dedicated group sites. "We camped in the group campsite. The bathrooms were a short walk away but were very clean & nice. There were plenty of trails, fishing areas & lots to explore and see," reports Kimsey C.

What you should know

Size limitations: Some campgrounds have tight spacing between sites. "The spaces are quite small and close to one another. Water and electric are included," explains Joseph S. about Davis Bayou Campground, though he adds they "definitely recommend and will come back."

Environmental noise: Multiple campgrounds experience periodic noise from nearby attractions or transportation. "The only con is the go cart track next door can be loud so get a site away from it," advises Jessica R. about Cajun RV Park.

Weather considerations: Camp David RV River Resort offers water activities with weather-dependent conditions. "I was able to use my kayak and fish on the river," notes Nick N., who found the location provided "scenic views" despite some construction at the time of his visit.

Tips for camping with families

Wildlife viewing opportunities: Deer Island Dispersed Camping provides unique coastal experiences. "It's less than a half-mile off the coast, but far enough away to be left alone. Great paddling, quiet camping, lots of birds," reports Sami H., though noting there can be "a lot of litter along the shores."

Recreational facilities: Several campgrounds feature dedicated play areas. "We have a great park here and I highly recommend it," notes Brandon D. about Biloxi Bay RV Resort's recreational amenities.

Tips from RVers

Site selection strategy: Position matters at most Biloxi area campgrounds. "We were in the new section. Spots are close together with really no place to park tow vehicle without sticking out in the road," explains RICK V. about Gulf Beach RV Resort, though praising the "good 50 amp with sewer."

Off-base convenience: Keesler AFB FamCamp offers military camping with easy access. "This campground is located outside the gates and next door to a beautiful park that has fishing, disc golf, and a splash pad playground for the kids," advises Mi W.

Level sites: Many coastal campgrounds maintain relatively level pads. "Our spot 52 was fairly level," notes Lisa M. about Davis Bayou Campground, adding that "spots were nicely spaced apart and quite a few had good shade."
