Pine Tree Associates was founded in 1934 and is one of the oldest operating family nudist clubs in the country. Pine Tree is a co-op club, owned and managed by and for the members.

The club is nestled in a tranquil ninety-six acre setting just minutes from downtown Annapolis, Maryland, and a short drive to Baltimore or Washington, D.C.  Although suburban sprawl is everywhere, Pine Tree remains in a relatively rural setting and is adjacent to the Bacon Ridge Natural Area, a passive recreation park of 1,000 acres in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Unlike many American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) clubs, Pine Tree is open 365 days a year. In addition to a large outdoor pool, there is an indoor pool that’s open roughly from Labor Day through Memorial Day. The indoor pool is located in Keyes Hall, named for the founding family. Keyes Hall is also the location of sauna, hot tub and the exercise and game room.

Accommodations at Pine Tree include rental cabins, rental trailers, RV sites, and tent campsites. (Please call to make a reservation before visiting Pine Tree for the first time.)  The Pine Tree campground is a loop road, with sites on the inside and outside of the loop. The campground bathhouse or “Adam and Eve” is located in the center, making it easily accessible from any campsite. The Hollofield Area of Patapsco is located almost in the center of the Park along Rt 40 (Baltimore National Pike) making it a great place for camping near Washington. Home to The Patapsco Valley State Park Headquarters and one of two campgrounds in the park,  This area is perfect for a family gathering or a quick picnic lunch while on your lunch break from work. The Ole Ranger Trail or Peaceful Pond trail provide a quick respite or workout in a beautiful setting just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Baltimore. Anglers can gain access to the river by following Union Dam trail down to the river.

The Hollofield Area boasts one of the most stunning views of the Patapsco River Valley. The Overlook changes with every season from the brilliant greens of spring to the rich colors of fall. This is a perfect place to view the changing blanket of the seasons. You can see historic Rt. 40 Bridge to the North. You can see the River peek through when the leaves fall from the trees in winter. In the spring new green leaves blanket the valley and in fall the patchwork of color provides spectacular views of the Patapsco River Valley.

Our campground is a little piece of wilderness in the middle of suburban Baltimore. While occasionally you can hear the buzz of cars along Rt. 40 or see a nearby neighborhood through the trees, you really feel like you’re away from everyday trappings enjoying the great outdoors when camping with us.

The Hollofield campground has 73 campsites, some with electric hookups. Each campsite has a picnic table and a fire ring. All equipment must be positioned on the designated camping pad and driveway.

Here you can cuddle with the cows, hang out with the hogs, and chill with the chickens. A family-run, working small farm, built in the 1800s, we are dedicated to improving the land, soil, plants, and wildlife, through Regenerative Agriculture with all-natural, chemical, hormone, anti-biotic, and GMO-free methods. We raise and breed Rare Heritage Livestock in a conservation program to keep these genetic lines alive and diverse. Several of our breeds are listed on the Slow Foods Ark of Taste. Our farm practices invite loads of wildlife, including herons, fox, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, deer, bald eagles, red-tailed hawk, and more.

Don’t pack too much food, we’ve got you covered! We carry a full array of retail cuts of Beef, Pork, Chicken, as well as local honey, cheese, milk, yogurt smoothies, eggs, pet treats, and our Artisanal Charcuterie Salami and Cheese Pairings!
