This is a great quiet park with animals for visiting and a very clean shower house.
Decent sites with full hook ups. Little shade with small trees next to about each site. Gas, propane, laundry room, beach area, small boat rentals, good sized convenience store with ice, beer, snacks, milkshake machine, etc. Enough to do for a day or two without going to the water park. Overall…
Campground with level pads, easy access and super friendly hosts. Spaces are large and open with nice balance of trees for shade.
We loved this campground (stayed here many times in the past few years) and they've recently updated the bathroom/shower houses to be shared bathroom spaces with individual shower 'closets' on the opposite side of the building. Excellent upgrade!
Fishing is good here, as are the hiking…
Ok to dry camp in the parking lot but campground is no longer available.
this park has hiking(on path or off), fishing in multiple lakes and the cedar river, and a beach!!! maxx rentals will rent you from float mats to double kayaks. i suggest if you like well kept campgrounds try a weekend here
this is a 700+ acre park with hiking, fishing, and disc golf. it also has modern amenities and a small zoo of animals from birds to buffalo.
Grundy County lake camp ground has a separate entrance from the lake so follow signs on road past park. 37 electric camping pads with water spigot every other pad (you must share although seen alot of rude people hogging the water) no sewer hookups but, there is a dump station. NO SHADE at this…
Wooded campground by the Shell Rock River (park has river access and boat ramp, campground not on river). 27 Electric only sites on grass camping pads. $15 a night , free on Wednesdays (except holidays). fish pond and river fishing. playground and clean shower/bathroom house. No trailer dump in…
Nice campground with some non-electric sites on bank of Cedar River, clean shower house and flush toilets. On Cedar Valley bike trail (100+miles of interconnecting bike trial. major Hwy on two sides of park, sleeping in a tenet it was very noisy at night. and a train track close by (again at night)
Nice County camp ground (Black Hawk), Electric and non-electric sites. campground sits on edge of lake. Bike trail runs by campground and connects to the Cedar Valley Trail (100+miles of interconnecting hard surface bike trails). NOTE: Some Hwy noise at night as Hwy 218 is right next door)
We had site 24, sites were very spaced out and they are only on one side of the road so no sites backed up to ours. Plenty of room for our dogs
Visited this place a couple times and it's a great location.
This is a beautiful COE park along the overflow of the lake. Cell service was terrible, but we loved the park. People were friendly and super helpful!
I grew up going to this park both camping here and watching softball games with my friends. Also fishing a picnics! Close to home!
