Managed by the Hardin County Conservation Board, Cross Ford River Access is a dispersed drive-in site along the Iowa River corridor in Hardin County. Cell service is available, and the campground accommodates big rigs, ADA users, and leashed pets. Bugs are present, as one might expect near a river in summer. Eagle City County Park sits roughly 2 miles east for campers wanting a different setup nearby.
