Great weekend in Brown County

Stayed in the Taylor Ridge Campground at Brown County State Park. We had great weather and a great time. We have visited Nashville Indiana several times but this is our first time camping nearby. My wife loves to visit Nashville and all the little shops they offer. The park offers great trails and…

Perfect Family Getaway

If you're looking for a nice quiet peaceful campground, this is not it! It's a fun, family centered, campground. There is SO much to do just within the campground itself (for all ages) People rent the golf carts and decorate them with various themes. Clean camp ground, nice people one thing I…

Nice campground, our first time camping with our Travel Trailer

My wife our dogs and were at site 207 from 05/14/21- 05/16/21 camping in a Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108 TB. We had reservations at this campground prior to purchasing our travel trailer so we camped in a primitive, the roads were pretty tight getting the trailer back to our reserved site. The…

Hesitate to share our hidden gem

My wife and were at site 15 from 09/02/21- 09/06/21 camping in a Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108 TB. This park is not for large rigs, but we had no trouble fitting into our small camper. This is a great place to camp and hike, although there is no electric hookup we had a generator that we used…

Nice large campground

My wife and were at site 20 from 09/10/21 - 09/12/21 camping in a Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108 TB. This site appears to be one of the smaller of the electric campsites, we are new to RV camping and I am still gaining experience in backing our travel trailer into sites. Although one of the smaller…

Beautiful park!

Our site was F33. Nice size. We had to navigate around the tree for our awning but it gave us some much needed shade for the heat. The comfort station closest to our campsite was clean and seemed well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

First time; won’t be the last!

First time at Starve Hollow. Camped with a group of the family. Impressed with the showers and bathrooms, and cannot get over the large amount of shade trees! Was able to take the dogs and ourselves for a few hikes, the bait shop was a wonderful bonus. Only negative of the whole trip was the blue…

Nice, cheap, and secluded

This was our first stop of our summer road trip and it was just what we were looking for. After driving from Virginia we wanted to find a nice, easy place to set up camp for the night and the Saddle Lake area was perfect. There were a bunch of sites still available when we got there in the evening.…

Quiet with strict rules

There are very strict rules. You will be told to leave if you do not follow them. When we got there were drove in going about 7-10 mph. We were quickly made aware that it was 5mph. There is a playground for kids. It's a very quiet campground. There is one shower in the men's and one in the…

No longer Westward Ho.

I stayed at this area before it was renamed to Friends O' Mine. Was a nice place for a quick stop but being so close to the highway, was extremely loud. Half of the sites have shade and half do not. Cute little pond to walk around but I wouldn't recommend swimming.

Indiana beauty

We are new to camping but definitely enjoyed staying here last weekend. Lots of space for each camp site and the restrooms were clean with good showers. The kids LOVED the pool but weren’t as excited about the hiking since there wasn’t any “rugged” trails 🤣

Great place

Well kept grounds. Lake, trails, frisbee golf and 9 hole golf course are all a part of the grounds. They host different themed events. Only complaint was the camp store wasn’t open when advertised

FREE FIREWOOD!!!

I did not know what I reserved when I did, so it was pleasant surprise when we pulled up to a pull-through site with full utilities and lake front. Very quiet, amazing sunsets, unbelievably clean and well-kept park. Each site has its own trash can that staff haul off. There’s a creek that runs the…
