Rock Creek RV Park sits at the bottom of a short, steep paved road that drops into a gorge within Twin Falls County Park Rock Creek RV Campground, and first-time visitors often assume the industrial-looking approach is a wrong turn. It is not. The descent leads to gravel, level sites along Rock Creek, each with water and electric hookups, running $20 to $35 per night. No tents are permitted. The park operates April 1 through November 1, and reservations are available, though open sites have been reported even on busy holiday weekends.
The campground divides into two sections. Sites 1 through 9 are back-in only, recommended for rigs under 30 feet, though reviewers have successfully fit a 36-foot fifth wheel into that area. These sites have more mature tree cover and shade. The newer section accommodates larger rigs and pull-throughs but gets more road noise from above. Wanda K. notes the park is "extremely well maintained," and multiple campers describe the grounds as consistently clean, with trash cans distributed throughout.
Rock Creek runs through the county park adjacent to the RV area, and campers have access to a paved walking and biking path stretching at least two miles round trip. Fishing for trout draws visitors to the creek, and a handicapped-accessible fishing pier is on site. Two playgrounds and covered picnic shelters are available in the day-use area. Cell coverage is strong across multiple carriers, with AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Visible all receiving positive mentions from reviewers who used data-heavy connections throughout their stays.
There is no dump station or sewer hookup on site, and payment has historically been cash or check only. A free dump station is available about a mile away in Twin Falls. Campers towing vehicles should note that pull-through sites may be reserved for larger rigs requiring 50-amp service, which has caused friction for some arriving with tow setups. Julia M. advises that if the entrance area looks full, continuing past the camp host reveals additional pull-through options. Shoshone Falls is roughly 20 minutes from the park. Campers wanting a different setup can consider The Fillmore Inn as an alternative in the area.
