Best RV Park that was available!

This RV Park is packed, but they've utilized the space thoughtfully. It was so organized, safe(24/7 security), the rounds were well taken care of and an enjoyable experience. We've been traveling for 19 months all over the country and they have the cleanest and cheapest onsite laundry room we've experienced. They have a pool, hot tub, clubhouse, arrows around the park that weave you through the park totally a 1 mile distance. Everything is asphalt. Walkable to Sam's Town Casino. It is a drive to the strip and not in the nicest area outside the RV park gates, but it was a great spot for our stay. Wifi was fast and AT&T service was good. We would stay here again.

Clean and great amenities!

Awesome RV park and amenities if you're going to be in Lone Pine for a while. It's on the outskirts of downtown Lone Pine, but the views are beautiful of the mountains and the RV park is spacious with plenty of room to get your steps in. Complimentary muffins and coffee from 7-9a daily which was very hospitable and kind.

We spent a few days in the Alabama Hills and then came here for full hookups during the week. It was a great combo.

The internet worked pretty well for the most part for work emails and video and live stream. AT&T service was 2 out of 4 bars and worked just fine for us.

The grounds and amenities are very clean and the staff is friendly. The week was quiet, but as the weekend rolled around almost every site was full. It would be even better if we had more space between neighbors, but I'm still giving it a 5 star because it was perfect for the area.

We will definitely be back.

Incredible - A Must Stay!

Incredible stay for boondocking. Stunning area and easy to navigate on the dirt roads with RV if you can find a site closer to where the asphalt ends. We had no problem in November.

Amazing weather. The sites are a little limited to one side of the recreation area, but we got lucky with our spot. AT&T service was 2 of 4 bars and we were able to work remote and live stream on that service.

Small town of Lone Pine- there isn't much going on, but some good restaurants- TX bbq, Totem Cafe, etc., friendly locals,Jake's Saloon and accessible to Bishop, Independence. The Western Film Museum is a must. Only$5/person and it was definitely worth more than$5. Manzanar was also very interesting to learn more about.

Movie Road connects to Whitney Portal Rd that will take you up to the trailhead for Mt. Whitney. Permits required, along with a fee and can reserve online and then pick up at the Lone Pine Visitor center.

What a special place- we will be back again.

Convenient location, would stay here again but maybe for a shorter time

This would be a great stop for a few days. We were there for a work week and then some. It is accessible to downtown, but it is just a parking lot with no frills. We got lucky and parked under one of the only trees in the park which made it feel more welcoming. We were by the dumpsters but it was never an issue.

They have a laundry room but close at 4pm so make sure to make the deadline because they lock it before they head home for the day! ha. There is a night guard that patrols. There is direct access to the bike path which goes for miles and miles and connects to other trails which made our stay really great.

FHU and pretty level. Easy pull thru site. Would stay again, but for a shorter time.

We loved our stay!

As full timers- we thought we hit the jackpot for the area in order to be near the towns we wanted to explore and also have service for good wifi. We had enough AT&T service for one person to work fine on the wifi. There are also plenty of coffeeshops about 5 mins away for stronger wifi.

You feel like you're remote and you have direct access to trails and bike path from your site, but very close to downtown Folsom which is a cute little town. Site BP60 was FHU and spacious kind of tucked in a corner. Trash and recycle right at your site and picnic table and space from neighbors. Almost perfectly level site.

No laundry at campground- but Laundry Paradise in Roseville was a great find for us- very clean facilities and new washers. Worth the drive compared to Laundryland in Folsom. I'm only giving it a 4 because it would be a 5 if there was better service or if they offered wifi. It was decent, but could've been better. We will definitely be back.

Perfect overnight in Reno!

Rock parking lot for overnight RV'er guests of the casino. Walkable to the casino. Very easy drive to downtown and good surrounding restaurants. We did not, but it seemed like there wasn't an issue with running generators because one of our neighbors was doing so. It was just what we needed as we passed through town and got a little gambling in as well! No wifi but ATT worked great.

There was a huge car show taking place the night we were there, but there happened to be one spot left in the parking lot that we were able to take.

First to Review
Nice stop over

This was a great stop over as we were passing through. A quiet and small RV park with first come, first serve spaces when you arrive. It is gated. Water and Electricity with a dump station. Spacious enough for us. Easy to get in and out and pretty level. No wifi but AT&T worked fine.

We loved this campground!

Narrow drive and sharp turns in the campground so we didn't camp with our RV but we did tent camp. There were smaller RVs there and plenty of camper vans. The sites are spacious and in the pines. Great location in the valley. Can walk everywhere or bike everywhere in the valley. AT&T service occasionally let a text go through but completely unreliable. No wifi. We had to put on quite a bit of bug spray at night and early in the morning, but other than that the bugs weren't an issue.

Good stop over

It was a great overnight stop for us on our way to Yosemite. No AT&T cell service. Can get 1 hr of free wifi every 24hrs or pay for more wifi. The park is huge with a lot to do and different camping accommodations for all types. Easy asphalt roads throughout campground in the pines. Sites are spacious from neighbors. Gravel/Dirt back in site but pretty level. Kind of pricey.

Nice place to stop for a week

This was a great stop over for a week. A little remote and you have to drive to the nearest town(s), but clean grounds and nice site. Very easy to book online.

The RV park is pretty large so it's a nice daily walk. We had an easy pull thru site with plenty of space for our RV and truck to fit and had some shade from a nearby tree. There were a few bugs at night, but nothing miserable.

Wifi worked fine for us. For video calls during work we used our hotspot just to be safe, but otherwise their wifi was reliable and worked just fine. AT&T service worked great.

Laundry was credit card which made it easy to avoid a hassle of getting quarters. They have a few pools and hot tub, but closed due to COVID.

Direct access to beach; great amenities

This is a pricey rv park, but great location and very busy. It is competitive with the others around and think it was the best one in the area. There are over 400 sites and so you are very, very close to your neighbor and tight parking at your rv, but the grounds are kept very nice and there are lots of things to do at the RV park.

Direct access to the beach and can stroll the beach all the way to downtown. Also walkable to state park with walking trails by the water.

Wifi worked excellent and had good AT&T cell service so easy to work remote here. Laundry on site and pricey, but machines worked well and very clean facilities with plenty of washers and dryers.$2.75/wash,$1.75/dry

Close to San Luis Obispo. Awesome food at Oasis Mediterranean, the Honeymoon Cafe and Talay Thai!

Walkable / Bike-able location; nice staff!

We were hesitant at first from working remote by being so close to the highway, but the tall wall that separates the highway and the park works very well. We ended up extending our stay because it worked out so well.

Wifi and AT&T cell service worked great overall. Video calls were inconsistent so hotspotted those calls, but streaming and email and search worked just fine.

Very close to neighbors and a tight fit, but the city has so much to offer, we didn't need to spend much time at the RV park so were fine with cramped space. Great owners and really nice and accommodating staff. Management helped us park.

Laundry conveniently on site and worked really well.$1.50 wash and$1.00 dry. Trader Joes.7 mi away; walkable to the waterfront and biking lanes and trails all around.

Beautiful Campground & Convenient!

Awesome location and cheap for full hookups. Spacious sites. Bike path runs through the park that goes right into Ojai or Ventura. The path is in pretty good shape and makes for a fun weekend getaway! No cell service and no wifi at our site, but as soon as you hit the highway, our cell service came back so it wasn't a bother for us since it was a weekend. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town!

Best RV Park in Town!

We stayed a little longer than a month and enjoyed how accessible everything was from this location. It's also a great home base for exploring up to Malibu all the way down to San Diego and every place in between. Carlsbad Village is just a few miles away and there is great ice cream and Handel's and cute shops and restaurants.

ABOUT: The RV park has its own back gate to the beach. It meanders through a little city park and then you can take the roads to find little beach access or walk through the neighborhood down to the proper beach and Oceanside Pier. Laundry is a bit pricey $2.50/wash and$2.00 dry, but they work well and one cycle dries your clothes. It's tightly packed, but manageable. One of the team members will help you park when you check in which is really helpful. Concrete pads and hookups placed conveniently by your rig. Picnic tables and a palm tree divides each site.

There is a commuter train that goes by and we were concerned before arriving due to working from home conditions, but we were pleasantly surprised. At our site it wasn't bad at all. It only came a few times a day and it was not a big deal. Didn't affect us working from the RV.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Very responsive team, especially over email. Facilities are nice and the staff keeps the grounds very clean and tidy. It is a pretty laid back atmosphere and a variety of guests, lots of families having fun together. You can have packages delivered but they go to the office and not your site so remember to add your name.

WIFI/ CELL SERVICE: AT&T cell service worked full bars and wifi was great. Very little trouble working remote or streaming. There were a few times where we needed the support of our back up hotspot on our phone for video calls instead of their wifi, but other than that it was great.

Cheap and great option for exploring downtown New Orleans!

This was a great place- especially for an overnight. Easy to navigate through the park- all concrete. This site was level. No wifi, but AT&T cell service worked fine. Water and Electricity with dump station on site. Trashcans conveniently around the park.

Accessible location for nearby beach towns

We only stayed two nights, but it was just what we needed. The other places in the area are much more expensive, so this was a nice alternative. Full hookups and it made for a comfortable stay. Wifi was available, but it didn't work, but AT&T cell service worked fine for what we needed.

Pricey, but lovely and worth it!

We loved our stay at Buttonwood. It is a popular snowbird community, but they also have spots for people that are short term. It is in a very desirable location- 0.8 miles to the beach and 0.2 miles from an awesome fish taco place- Tide Tables. If you need to go to the grocery or any shopping- Home Depot, Walmart, TJMaxx, Hobby Lobby, Starbucks, Dollar Tree, Walgreens, etc is within 10 minutes.

Wifi worked awesome and very fast. AT&T service worked great as well.

There are palm trees that divide sites, so although fairly close to your neighbors, you feel more private. Level site- not sandy or dusty. The row right by the road probably hear's more road noise, but at site 26 it was subtle. I can't find anything bad to say about this place and we would recommend to anyone. The price is worth it!

The only thing we struggled with were a few tiny black ants that came in after sitting there for 2 weeks, but we quickly resolved.

Great spot in pine trees; Accessible to the city

SITE: Pretty spot among many pine trees so feels private. You can see the water from the site and it's a great area to get around and walk outside. Our site was pretty level, we just needed a little boost on one side. Our sewer hose didn't fit in the hookup and it's higher than the ground so you had to assist your hose when dumping. Some of the asphalt getting to the site was really messed up so you have to dodge pot holes, but if you go slow it's perfectly doable- just bouncy. It froze 3 of the nights we were there so had to plan accordingly with our hoses.

AMENITIES: We were right across the way from Comfort Station#10 so to use the laundry room was really convenient. Daily trash pick up at site was very handy.$2 for both washing and drying. The dryers didn't work that well for us- had to run the cycle twice on towels. It's a very quiet and peaceful location.

WIFI/ CELL SERVICE: Wifi would occasionally load emails, but was not reliable and very slow to load basic searches, if at all. AT&T was 2 bars, but it worked fine at the site for calls and video calls.

You do have to pay a one time fee of$20 for your car entry into Stone Mountain on top of your RV park fees. Stone Mountain has great areas for walking and biking!

Convenient place in the woods

This campground was one of the cleanest campgrounds we've been to. It had the cleanest laundry room I've even seen at a campground and we are full timers so have been to many places. Washers seem new and large enough for a full load-$2 and dryer$1. The grounds are clean. There is a dog run area.

The customer service was very friendly and professional and a nice gentleman escorted us on a golf cart to our site. The roads are uphill and a little narrow, but nothing too difficult if you go slow. Our site was level so easy to pull up and set up smoothly. They have a fitness center, shower rooms, picnic tables and fire pit at every site.

WIFI/ AT&T: Campground wifi was excellent and quick. We work remote and usually have to hotspot our phone for video calls, but didn't have to here because it worked so well. AT&T was 1 to 2 bars at our site, but it worked just fine for calls and never had an issue, including video calls and streaming.

The pine trees help with a little privacy because you are tucked in pretty tight to one another. This is the only reason I'm not giving a 5 star.

Good sam partners. Accessible to Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, and many other mountain towns for exploring.

Pretty stay by lake! Close to downtown Nashville

We've enjoyed our stay here. There are very few RV parks in the Nashville/Franklin area and are more on the outskirts. We were happy to get a site here as it's relaxing by the lake. Wifi worked good most of the time and cell service was 3 of 4 bars AT&T. Very level pad and all roads and sites are concrete. Mosquitos and spiders to stay aware of at night when the lights are on, but I think that's seasonal. Picnic table and fire pit at each site. Sewer caps don't screw on very well, but manageable if weigh your hose down to stay in place. Peaceful stay.
