Nice quiet spot on a lake

Free camping on a lake not too far from the freeway. Good roads to the campsite. There are pull through and back in sites that would accommodate good-sized rigs, although some of the sites aren't terribly level. Surprisingly, there weren't any bugs. T-Mobile was good. Able to stream. As you come into the campground, there are campsites to the right and left with easy turn arounds.

Convenient to City of Rocks

Close to City of Rocks and the small town of Almo. Hot springs in Almo. Small market in town which makes their own ice cream and has a little restaurant across the street but not much in the way of groceries. Couple other restaurants in town but they were not open while we were there. Also water not yet turned on in the campground so bring your own water if you are coming through early in the season. But it was quiet and we were able to explore and hike without running into many people

Nice location, campsites spreadout

Quiet, private campsites. Close to Sun Valley. Place to turn around if unable to fine a campsite. No cell coverage. Only 3 day limit.

First to Review
Close in to Sun Valley

Nice location, close to town. Close to road but not much traffic. Access can be difficult with steep access from main road and tricky spots along the access road. There are three access spots. Would pick the first or second. The road is difficult between the second and third access roads. Would recommend walking down to see if safe for you and your vehicle. There is more dispersed camping farther up the road but you begin to lose cell coverage.

Lovely view of the Sawtooths

Nice view of the lake. Quiet time of year to visit.

Unexpected gem in Twin Falls

This was a nice and quiet park.  The road down is a little narrow but doable.  We were told by the host that they were starting to do a reservation system but when we were there we were able to get a site first come, first served.

Convenient when visiting SLC

We have stayed here several times when visiting family in SLC.  Facilities are clean and the staff is nice.

Great location to visit Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point

We enjoyed this area and we able to do day trips to all the parks.  Some of the access is trickier than others so be sure to scout ahead of time.  Cell service was spotty.

Great location for exploring around Moab

We used this as a fill up, dump and laundry location in between boondocking sites.  It is clean and served our purpose well.

Amazing geology

Nice campground in Valley of Fire State Park. There are two campgrounds close together. Atlatl rock has hook ups, flush toilets and hot showers. Arch Rock has water at each site along with pit toilets. My favorite campsites were at Arch rock. Both are first come, first serve. We arrived at 1:00 on our first day (a Wednesday) but there were no campsites available. So we went back out the West entrance and stayed on dispersed camping and tried again the next day. We went at 10 and were successful. Beautiful area, we will be back!

Nice mid Utah stop

Nice stop on your way through Utah. Pull through sites for RVs. Electricity but no water in March.

Close to Valley of Fire

Close to Valley of Fire. Lots of sites to chose from, easily accessible. Great territorial views.

Close to Bryce Canyon

Such a great area.  We stayed several nights.  Several roads and campsites to choose from.  Would definitely come back here again.

Great location for overnighting along Interstate 15 or if you love ATVing

Great location if you ATV or just need a night along Interstate 15.  We were just traveling through but had some truck trouble.  The owners were so great and flexible as we were changing our nights daily.  I can't say enough about how kind and accommodating they were.   Showers, bathrooms, laundry and common areas were spotless.

We would definitely stay there again.

Great location, exceptional staff

So much to do close to this campground.  Very close to stores and restaurants.  Staff are kind, accommodating and good communicators.

RV sites are close together but adequate.  Bathrooms and showers are clean.  Would stay here again if traveling through the area.
