Close to town

Location great close to town for shopping and stay the night if you’re heading to the Tetons. Does not have any access to snake river. The showers were hot. Has a cute little snack and gift shop. We got a spot in the shade.

Slightly Below Average and Very Dusty

This place is about half full-time residents in the back and the rest short term overnighters. Everything is gravel and dirt. This place is very dusty and it's easy to see no gravel has been laid down for years. It rained the first night I was there, and the roads ( and my site) were a muddy mess. I had the windows open the next day and within an hour, my counters were covered with a fine layer of dust from the Yahoo's driving by at 30 miles an hour. The full-time portion of the park is very trashy. You can tell no maintenance has been done on this place for years. But the prices are reasonable. I only stayed two nights, and it was okay for a stopover.

Weekend get away!

Fantastic place to stay! Relatively quiet even with the major roads around. The grounds are kept clean and neat. A great base location for seeing the surrounding attractions!

Snake River stay

Easy to find. Short drive from the campground to some restaurants, gas stations, grocery store, etc in the area. There are 2 bar/grills walking distance from the campground. Has a Heated pool. Fenced in dog areas. we were just there for one night while we were passing through. So im not sure how the amenities were, i never used any of them. I thought it was actually on the snake river when i booked it. But its not quite on the river. Lol but it was still a nice stay for the night. The staff was friendly, and the lady at the desk gave me a little stuffed snake for staying at “snake river”. It was cute.

Not a KOA but it works

It is not fancy, yet the laundry works , showers work and the oil is clean yet cool. Which wasn’t bad since it was a hot day!

Place to stay

Grounds look older, but maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were placed in a pull-in with a 40’ class A that wasn’t large enough. Only had 30amp hook up. Manager got us moved to a full hook-up with plenty of room. WIFI works, Verizon coverage is good.

Maybe for an overnight stay

A bit run down. Picnic table covered in bird poop. Site seemed washed out. Kinda sandy. No firepit or grill at my site. Pub and grill next door for wine, beer and basic bar food, arcade, family friendly. Verizon service was good. Wifi terrible. General store was poorly stocked. The area seemed industrial. Staff was nice. Bathroom was clean.

Pretty Run Down, Sites Super Close Together

An ok spot for a night. The bad: Playground very run down, had picnic table at our site that was cracked on the table part, sites very close together (no privacy), no access or view of the river, in a questionable part of town. The good: pool was open and there appeared to have laundry and free showers. Staff was nice. I most likely would not stay here again if I had the choice.

First pick in Idaho Falls

At first we were not sure about this campground based on location. We were pleasantly surprised! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The park for the kids was perfect and the pool was open too! Beautiful grounds and close to everything in town. We would stay here again!

It's okay

Cramped sites, over priced. They have a pool and hot tub with hot showers that were great only because we went a week without one while going through Yellowstone. We did get to watch a great thunder storm roll over us that night.

Convenient but crowded

They certainly have all the amenities including showers, a pool, hot tub and playground. It was nice having these amenities after several days without. However the sites did not have much space between them, and we saw several questionable and possibly drunk people walking through the rv park. Not a place I would go for a relaxing time camping.

Too close for comfort

We had planned to stay 2 nights at the Snake River RV Park, but it was very crowded and the sites were too close together. We had reservations, but still ended up in an overflow area, with a huge sink hole which we almost backed into. The site was next to the playground, and kids were out till after 10 pm. We left after one night.

Convenient and lovely RV Park

Reservations are suggested during the summer season for a shaded and grassy RV site. Playground. Dog area. Cabins too.
