We’re a family of 6 traveling the world and teaching our kids about cultures along the way. We have been driving around the states in our cute camper and have enjoyed every minute of it. Get out and explore

Looks great!

This campground looks great. The lake looks inviting and has a swim area as well as fishing. Well maintained and the camp host was friendly and helpful.

Cute campground

This campground is near a lake, looks cute and decently kept up. One of the bigger playgrounds was partially underwater. All the RV spots were filled so we didn’t end up staying there. A sign indicates gates close at 8:30. So if you are arriving late, or wanting a night out in town this may not be the campground for you.

Great area

The RV area of this park has 18ish pads fcfs with electrical and water hookups. There is a dump station as well. It is located right off highway 34 and only a few miles off I 80. Great area to stop for the night. The park is in town and right next to the city pool. There is one bathroom near the pool and playground area.

Can’t beat the price!

This is a great little campground with sites dispersed throughout the area. These are free sites. However when we pulled in after dark it was hard to tell what was day use only and what was available for camping. There was a sign near where we camped that said “authorized overnight parking” and there was also a no camping sign. So We were a little confused. But otherwise it was a great basic site without hookups.

First to Review
Cute with full hookups

After being stranded for several hours with a flat tire we found ourselves behind schedule, And making it by with 5 out of 6 tires. We were told by the super helpful and friendly locals of this rv park which is simple and small. It has full electrical, water and sewage hookups. There is a playground in the same area as well as a city park about 2 blocks away. The city park has bathrooms. No showers. Quaint little town, and we were grateful for a place to park when we were left somewhat stranded.

Convenient but crowded

They certainly have all the amenities including showers, a pool, hot tub and playground. It was nice having these amenities after several days without. However the sites did not have much space between them, and we saw several questionable and possibly drunk people walking through the rv park. Not a place I would go for a relaxing time camping.

Quaint

Great place to bring kids! We have driven through North Platte several times and had always wanted to camp here. We finally got the chance. There are several camping sites for $5 no hookups there is a sewage dump station. There are several animals in cages around including peacocks, lamas, donkeys, Buffalo, dear and elk. It’s fun to walk around and look at the animals. There are also several day use areas, and a couple of play grounds. Also in the Cody park area is a small amusement park perfect for kids 2ish-8ish. Our 4 kids in that age range all loved it. The rides were affordable and fun for the youngins.
