ScoutDecent spot that's just off the highway. Easy to find the main road, gravel. Washboard road is ok if you go slow. Off road is rougher than it looks. Highway noise is not terrible. Decent spot for a short stay. Close to the truck stop with public restroom too.
TravelerWe were driving south from Yellowstone and and to fly off from SLC two days later. We were looking for a spot to stop for the night that wasn’t too urban. Downata has been a blessing. Quiet place with amazing hot springs and very modern pools. Also many sport activities for the kids. An amazing sunset and great people at the desk that were both extremely kind and welcoming but also allowed us to check out a tad later for us to enjoy the site in the morning! ScoutWe have overnighted at Aspen twice. It is immaculate and well organized. Staff has been super friendly.
GuideRight off the highway only 15 minutes from the city, it is surrounded by trees, plants, and then a creek of which all come together to take you into a nice hidden getaway. The sites were big and great for tents, and the environment nice seeing that so many people were hiking and fishing yet everyone was quiet at night. As for the bathrooms, they could definitely be better, and the bear dumpster was a little far. There were trash bins by the bathroom labeled "non-household items" which seemingly confuse some people who were definitely throwing trash in those bins, which is obviously something that should be better managed fr the sake of the visitors and bears.
If the bathrooms were cleaner, I think id easily give this a 5/5
ScoutNice full hook up sites, free/locked showers. It’s not in the truck stop, but still a little close to the state road (not close to the interstate). Sites are a little close, but well spaced for what it is.
ScoutEverything was great. It’s hard while traveling to find a dog friendly spot. Our cattle dogs don’t do leashes and they don’t do anything wrong. Hook up was easy.

ScoutLocation is great to be close to the lake with full hook ups. The resort uses EVERY square inch so it feels very crowded. Our site was okay, but we were right next to the dumpster and shower/bathroom facility so everyone wanted to walk thru our site instead of walking around. It was surprisingly quiet for the amount of people there. The private "beach" was not too crowded compared to Roundevous Park. Their beach does have a lot of rocks, so bring water shoes and dogs aren't allowed. But if you walk towards the left side of their private "beach" there is less rocks and you can take your dogs to that side of the beach. Place was good for the 4th and the site was good (next time I would block off the shortcut trail to keep people from walking thru).
