Fun for kids, groups, fsmilies

We love finding campgrounds with unique elements. Hot springs and water slides fit the bill. Tight spots, no sewer were the only downsides. Great groups there during our stay, easy to get around. Nice amenities. Beautiful sunrise and nice staff. It’s a no frills with frills kind of place.

Great place

We come here every year to meet family. Friendly staff, clean areas, reasonable rates. Busy time is between Memorial Day and Labor day. We always visit after Labor Day. No sewer, electricity and water at most sites

Lovely, clean and friendly

This place is spotless and well-cared for.

We are car camping in a Tesla and the destination charge gave us the oomph to go up to Jackson WY the more scenic way via Soda Springs . We were the only guests (weekday after the kids are back in school=quiet time.) Got some road tips and local history from the friendly camp hosts and had a very pleasant stay!

Nice little spot

Nice little spot in the middle of nowhere. A little crowded is my only complaint. Nice friendly staff. Good pools. Basic amenities available in the main office. We had a spot with power and water. Kids and dog loved it. We got to see the fireflies in the field!

Springtime review

It occured to me that since I visited this property a second time that I should get perspective on my earlier spring visit. We had a wet spring so it was a bit muddy in places, gravel on these roads would go a long way in keeping the mud down and the hole smaller. Next the grass had not been cut down and was very high, walking around in the morning ment wet shoes plus it made it more difficult to set up and tear down. I only mention these inconveniences because of the high price to stay at the resort. Firewood has to be bought there, but it is a fair price and is delivered directly to your site. If you are tent camping in the far sites the bathroom is a bit of a walk but not terrible, and in my other review they are kept very clean. Even with the minor annoyances, this is a great place to get away and relax and enjoy. And BTW...it's bring your own alcohol, so if you indulge be forewarned. Enjoy!

Tucked away fun little Jewel

In far away Downey Idaho is a little resort with hot springs, cabins, wagons, teepees, a RV campground and a nice little eatery and a load of other fun things. It's small but busy so make reservations, when you check in ask about the steak and soak...so worth it especially if you arrive later and only have a few hours. One of the biggest pluses is the cleanliness of the whole property and the level of care throughout. This is a great place for families where parents can relax as the kiddos entertain themselves and you can meet up at the campfire for dinner. This is a high recommendation for this great place.

2nd Cabin Only Bigger

We had returned but had got a cabin with a loft. There are only 3 loft cabins. They are super cozy, and come with a full kitchen. The loft above had 2 twin beds, the main floor had a full size bed, futon, closet, full kitchen and a bathroom with both shower and tub. Close walking distance to the hot pools and restaurant. The 3 of us were comfortable and not felt like we were in a tiny space.

Cozy Cabin for 2

My boyfriend and I had stayed in one of the cabins for 2 people. The cabins were clean, came with full shower and toilet. A sink and microwave, coffee pot, and storage. Also had a futon, tv with DVD player. Loved this cabin! Walking distance to the hot pools, and restaurant...

Keep Going Back

The 1st time we stayed here, we were with a group of friends who rented out the Ranch House. It had 3-bedrooms with 5 beds, a couch that could sleep 3 grown adults. There was a full kitchen and dinning area, another sitting area to visit. A large flat screen tv with a DVD player. There was a small playroom for the kids downstairs. Had 2 bathrooms both with shower/tubs. All 12 of us were comfortable and there was enough room for everyone.

Great place to stay in the winter

Cold winter months and you need to get away? Wow we rented a cabin three times this last winter. Great little cabins with bathrooms the hot pools were 100 feet away and a heated swimming pool. In the summer time the pool is nice and cold and there are water slides. There is RV and tent sites as well as group sites and 3 small cabins, 3 medium cabins and three large cabins/houses. They also have several yurts. This year they also have covered wagons you can stay in(cute idea on a tent cabin). The staff is friendly and courteous. There is a small cafe and store. There is a restaurant that has a great sirloin dinner if you call ahead to make dinner reservations. Over all a great place to camp summer or winter.
