Pet accommodations: Most Garden City area RV parks welcome pets. "We had a pull through for our 40' fifth wheel and were happy. Lake access is only through the tent campers sites in front of us or going around the lake through full time resident campers sites. Reservation requirements: Summer and fall are busy seasons requiring advance planning. "We stayed here for a week and enjoyed it. Showers were clean and they even had a hot tub! Rig size restrictions: Some parks limit RV age or appearance. At Hi-Valley RV Park, "the spaces are pretty narrow. We had neighbors within 10 feet of us on both sides," notes Randy T.

Playground access: Some parks include dedicated children's areas. "We stayed one night. Check in was easy. All spots are easy parking. Park for kids, dog area, propane refills. Clubhouse with really nice showers," notes Heather N. at Abundant Life RV Park.
Recreation rooms: Indoor activities provide options during hot afternoons. "We have stayed at Abundant Life RV Park twice now ~ last August 2024 and late June, 2025. Wonderful facility, folks are great, everyone seems pleasant and helpful! Fun little area to play pool, air hockey, puzzles, do laundry, showers and restrooms," shares Greg and Beth C.

Site selection: Back-in sites often offer more space and privacy than pull-through options. "Try to get a back in site to the green belt if you can," recommends Jenny W. about Boise Riverside RV Park.
Utility reliability: Check electrical connections before setting up. "5G and 2G wifi were excellent. Towers throughout property for access points. Never a week signal. I was able to telecommute and stream without any issues and never used my Hotspot or cell data," reports Douglas G. about Ambassador RV Resort.
Lawn maintenance: Many parks water grass daily during summer. "The grounds are well kept and the grass is GREEN! They water just about, if not, every day!" observes Lawrence P. about Snake River RV Resort.
Shade availability: Most Garden City area RV parks have limited natural shade. "The one downside is lack of shade. They have trees but at the back end of the site & are useless for keeping you or the RV cool. Because there is no shade at all, sitting outside on the patio & tiny table is pointless," notes Mark S. about Ambassador RV Resort.
