We stayed here for 2 nights on our was to Gatlinburg. We went up the mountain and then walked down. We did the rope challenge in the park and did the laser night show would highly recommend. I didn't not give it 5 stars because the pool and shuttle to mountain was closed during our stay. We had a…

Awesome grounds in a family and pet friendly atmosphere. Neighbors were kind and helpful. Very quiet and peaceful time. Walking the grounds was nice and hilly. There’s also trails in between areas and around the campground. If you like the water, bring your trunks, kayaks, and poles.

While the tropical storm weather cut our trip to AH Stephens Historic Park we still very much enjoyed our visit.
We stayed in 2 sites with the grandparents. #9 & #12
Site 12 was a very nice straight site with the picnic table and fire ring down a few steps off the back of the main pad.…
We stayed on two sites (8 and 11) as a group for a weekend. There isn’t water access from the site but you can see the water from some sites. Sites were on the smaller side and not particularly level front to back. Bath house was clean but a decent uphill walk away from most sites as there is only…

Easy to get too. Great location on Lake Lanier. The sites are very large and trees between most sites. Lots of water view sites, some have easier lake access from your site than others for our kayaks. Has boat launch, huge beach area, older bathroom facilities but very clean. Did not try showers. I…

The site we stayed at was a tent site with no power or water. But it was a large site and right on the water. We were able to swim all weekend.
Clean, private, easy access to water nice place to camp
Love this place easy to get in, clean, cheap, lots of walking room. Concrete beach not so great.
Nice modern rv spots with water and electric. Nice facilities even had laundry! As far as privacy goes, it really wasn’t too bad for how close the spots were. Right next to the Chattahoochee River. Never knew how much that muddy water meant to me.
Our camp site was on the lake and quite and a lot of fun for the entire family.

Myself and 2 friends stayed in one of the 5 Yurts on the lake. Every morning we watched the sun rise over the trees, to start our days. Every evening, we gathered on the back deck to watch the sun setting. Let me tell you, absolutely breathtaking!
Plenty of room inside the structure for 3 adults,…

This is a very nice place. With great people and great views. Getting out in nature,as this place allows, brings us back to our roots, connects us back to the Earth and it's other inhabitants, the animals and plants. This is a wonderful place to do this.
Campsite 10 at Fort Yargo has a lovely water view. Temporary home to a family of geese and one white duck. Shower house was adequate. There was enough room between campsites. The registration/ camp store was nice. Many trails - some paved. Signage is not so great if arriving after hours as we did.…
We had a great time the puppies enjoy it too
Stayed here two nights at site 33. This is the south most site on the peninsula and gives 180 degree water views. Also in the tent-only section, so a little separation from the RVs.
These grounds are well maintained, but not much space and no privacy to speak of on the peninsula. But the views…
