TravelerI stayed at 3 Creeks for a week as a dry run with a new Class A motorhome. The sites were not too close together, so that is a plus. A lot of full time residents, but mostly a quiet in-the-woods location. They have a mini water park, so expect some playtime noises during operation hours. Full hookups with 50 amp service and friendly hosts. Pet friendly, though most people do not clean up after their fur children.

If you are looking for a fun family vacation spot to bring the kids, look no further.
Just outside Atlanta, the location is prime and beautiful, along the Etowah river. You can fish, kayak, or just relax. There is no shortage of activities for children. The resort's pool is a huge beach-style pool with a hot tub and even a huge waterslide. There is a large playground and huge dog run. They have a large clubhouse and ball courts.
We booked one of their cheaper sites, a classic pull-thru site. To say the least, it was the TIGHTEST pull thru site we have ever booked. We have never had to adjust and shimmy around in a pull thru site before, the whole point is to pull in once and bam you're set up. We could barely even squeeze our tow vehicle (10ft bed dually) into the designated parking spot without sticking out. Even the back in sites would have been a little more roomy. But hey, for all the amenities (that we didn't even use since we were just stopping over for a night) the price isn't awful. For a bit more, you can get your own private dog run or patio furniture.
We were pretty overwhelmed with the sheer amount of RVs in this place. Mostly all big rigs too. It was packed and they have so many sites. So many kids running around, and our neighbor's dog was off leash and ran over to my dog when I tried to take him potty. There are no walking paths in the resort, so people (and kids) are forced to run around on the streets, which are pretty narrow, winding, and uncomfortable to drive a big rig on. Just in general A LOT going on, very busy place. Great place if you like resort style parks, but not fun for an overnight. Since it's new there's no shade at all, so I can't imagine how hot it is in the summer and with all the big rigs blasting their a/c, they may run into electrical issues. But they planted some trees which should alleviate that a bit.
The rules list is pretty strict and extensive, with a bunch of extra fees for weird things like early check-in and personal golf carts. Make sure you read through everything thoroughly before you book. Some rules might be deal breakers for some people. Staff was very kind to us and we wish them the best with their new RV resort!
GuideThe 5 star reviews are perplexing. We're not new to RVing and have stayed in plenty of lovely mom& pop parks. This is a family owned campground, but it is basically a parking lot with hookups for people who live there long term. Our site was on the side of a road about 50 yards away from the Dump Station. It was referred to as a premium, pull through rather than what it is... a pull to the side of the road. There was no grass or picnic table. I'll post pictures that show the condition of our site and how close the spots are to one another. The pictures online and YouTube videos of this park are very deceiving. The grassy areas beside and between the lakes can only be accessed by walking though other camper's sites.
** Use caution navigating the park because the roads at the back have no way to turn around if you get back there.
LegendOld Hwy 41 No 3 Campground is a COE campground on Lake Allatoona, about an hour North of Atlanta. The campground is only open May till September. There are about 50 sites, most had water and 30/50 amp electricity, a few with sewer. There are some lake front sites that appear larger, and are more expensive. Basic water/electric sites are $28/night, full hook-ups are $36, Lakefront are $64/night. Fire rings, picnic tables are provided, a playground and a bathroom/shower building. There is a laundry room, Also a dump station. They only allow 2 pets per site. This is a boating/fishing campground so there is a boat ramp. It is close to I-75 and US 41, but it is in the woods, so some of the highway noise is muffled, only some! There is also an entrance station which provides some security! The gate is open from 7 AM until 10:30 PM. NO ONE gets in after hours!

I really liked the booking process, because it shows you exactly what spot is available and it even shows you a pic of the site you’ll be getting. Our site was only $35 a night + a $5 parking pass.
The campground has a lot to offer! It has a boat access point, fishing, walking and biking trails, a small putt putt course, playground area for the kids and best of all it’s pet friendly! I can’t go without saying the employees are so friendly and helpful!
Campsite wise, it has electric, water, cable, a huge picnic table & a grill/fire pit. The only negative was it wasn’t a full hookup. 😔Something else that I really loved was all of the huge natural rocks located all throughout the campground. Each campsite seemed to have their own collection of rocks and it really added to the experience. Another plus is that it has a dump station right at the exit, so on your way out you can take care of your last minute steps to finish up your camping experience. 😁
If you’re in the area I would highly recommend this campground! You can’t go wrong!
LegendThis county campground takes the America the Beautiful Pass or an ADA Accessibility Pass, but you will need to call the office at 770-607-6245 to add the pass to your account for the discount before making reservations. If you are a big rig, it would be wise to call the office and have them assist you in choosing a site that will accommodate a larger rig. Our RV GPS and Waze brought us right to the campground (CG). There is also signage to verify that you are going the right way until you see the CG entrance. We pulled into the gate area and were checked in by the attendant on duty. During the process, she wanted to be sure how to navigate the CG to pull through site 16 with water and electric(50/30/20 AMP) due to the size of our rig. After confirming with her husband the best route, we drove to the site going through a small one-way road, which was no issue. As our rig is 40', we needed to watch the trees on a couple of corner turns and then pull down into our site. We got the rig into the levelist position possible to get our rig’s steps down to an assessable position and fairly level, but we did need to add levelers to our steps and the passenger-side tires. Other than that, it’s a great site with a deck, patio, stand-up BBQ, picnic table, and fire pit overlooking the lake. We were told, and noticed, that all the sites in this quaint little county park have a water view. The water pressure was good at around 55 psi and we got 1 bar on Verizon. There are a lot of mature trees here, but we were able to get a clear north sky shot for Starlink. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the restroom/shower house had a fairly new washer($3) and dryer($2) that only took credit cards. They have an interesting dump station set up where you climb a fairly steep hill. This station would be good for shorter rigs. On our 40’ Brinkley with two black tanks, getting the back tank would be at a downhill angle and we believe we would scraped going up the slope. We had to stay a couple of extra days to get our truck fixed and the attendants were more than accommodating. This is a nice park, especially for fishermen and we enjoyed our time here.
Scout925 per month regardless of class size. 400 dollar security deposit plus a 50 dollar pet rent every month. Apartments charge less for security deposits+ pet rent (especially this high!) is something I’ve yet to hear of for an RV park. For a small 30 amp camper van, it’s just not justifiable to pay the same price as a big rig.
TravelerThis is a very newbie-friendly park on a pretty lake. The attendants were great and responsive. The spaces are well-equipped. My spot was 38 and had a brand new huge picnic table. It also had a fire ring, though I was told I could use my own portable fire pit. There was a very clean, well-equipped sanitary dump station. The water hook- up had one quirk I didn’t know about in that it had to be pulled up twice. I had wonderful neighbors who showed me the trick. It was my first time, and my neighbors actually helped me with everything, including a fast exit due to impending really bad weather. I’ve already booked a second trip. Also, for walkers/joggers, the paved road inside the campground is (almost) one mile and relatively flat. Beautiful views. Great friendly campers, very dog friendly. A wonderful experience.
