Awesome place

The spots are on the river. There are porto johns nearby. But there is a nice bath house at the old ranger station. Good showers for the campers.

Decent getaway close to zip lining

This place is a nice clean camp ground only 10 mins from Historic Banning Mills. 6.5/10 for aesthetics 2/10 for facilities 10/10 for cleanliness 3/10 for tranquility

No power, and only saw one tap for running water, but is a good spot if you are self sufficient. No designated camp sites means you can pick anywhere. We managed to find a very private area all to ourselves.

Only $12 for the night. All in all, a good camp ground.

Historical

Beautiful bottoms for tent camping. Very primitive but fun. Loved walking the river bank looking for drift wood.

Beautiful and quite.

This place is a great place for family reunions or birthday parties. They even do Easter egg hunts every year. Also, for those that are into Geocashing, there are a few you could find here. This place has some nice trails and plenty of pavilions for large groups. You can tent camp or bring your RV. They have access to the Chattahoochie River for kayaking and fishing as well. This is a beautiful and quite place to enjoy some time in the sun.

Beautiful river

This is a open campground, the river is not really clean enough to swim and the bathroom is not kept well. It is however a beautiful river.
