GuideSolid, well lit camp grounds. You could easily fit a dozen or more cars/tents here. I was alone most of the night. Would recommend if you're looking for a quiet place to camp/fish.
ScoutThis was a fantastic place to park on I-75. It is a fenced and gated lot just off the interstate exit. It is well lit, safe and has easy access through a walking gate to the QT next door. Wide parking spots and free WI-FI. Even has a gazebo for picnics. Check this spot out! Easy to pay at the gate.
LegendIt’s a great option for an overnight stay. Easy in and out with large full hook up sites on large concrete pads. The campground is gated and secure. Can grab fuel and coffee on the way out in the morning. We have used this campground the last 2 years on our drive home as a last stop to really clean the tanks and get the camper ready to store. Will come again on our way home next summer.

TravelerThe campground is very nice. The sites are shaded and very clean. It is easily accessible and easy to get around in. The swimming beach is okay. It is a sand beach which is clean and easy to access the water, but I would not necessarily say the water is very clean. It is definitely better than many of the other lakes we have seen in Georgia, though! I would recommend staying here if you need a spot in central Georgia

GuideGiven four stars cause at least it was free. I was actually the only camper there on a Monday night. It’s cool by the river if you like fishing. Bugs of course. Seems like a lot of locals would just drive down there and back. I did see some kids swimming right before I left.There’s a nice pavilion if you’re with the group. I only complain is it’s further off the main highway than I would’ve anticipated. But that’s on me!
GuideIt was a beautiful drive from I-75 and the location is worth the trip. It’s not huge but the pond and lake is amazing at sunset and sunrise. It was open 24/7 including the restroom at the office. The restroom is a bit rough because of the iron in the water but the fixtures appeared otherwise clean. Only 2 other quiet campers in the campground so plenty of room to spread out.
