Level sites and clean facilities draw RV campers to this established campground within Jonathan Dickinson State Park. The campground accommodates rigs up to 36 feet with electric and water hookups, though Adam B. notes "quiet clean level sites" make for comfortable stays. Cell service works well for both Verizon and AT&T users.
Wildlife encounters happen regularly throughout the camping area. Sandhill cranes, lizards, rabbits, and various bird species move through the sites, with AileenJoyce reporting "lizards everywhere, rabbits, birds" during her visit. The campground's location within the state park provides access to hiking trails and the Loxahatchee River. Restrooms and shower facilities stay consistently clean according to multiple reviews.
No-see-ums present a significant challenge during certain seasons. These tiny biting insects pass through standard screen doors and windows, making bug spray essential gear. The campground offers both drive-in and walk-in sites, with some locations providing little privacy but convenient access to facilities.
