Lake Seminole has a surface area of 37,500 acres with 376 miles of shoreline. A pine and hardwood forest covers the rolling hills around the lake. A variety of wildlife makes its home around Seminole Lake, including raccoons, alligators, ring-necked ducks, canvasbacks, scaup, hawks, bald eagles, black vultures, tortoises and snakes.
Change and Cancellation Policies and Fees Overnight and Day Use Facilities: To ensure fairness, reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed beyond the booking window until 18 days after booking the reservation.__ Camping / Day Use: A $10.00 service fee will apply if you change or cancel your reservation (including campsites, cabins, lookouts, group facilities, etc.). The $10.00 service fee will be deducted from the refund amount. You can cancel or change reservations through Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.__ Late Cancellations Overnight and Day Use Facilities: Late cancellations are those cancelled between 12:01 a.m. (Eastern) on the day before arrival and check out time on the day after arrival. Individual Campsites: If a customer cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival they will be charged a $10.00 service fee and will also forfeit the first night's use fee (not to exceed the total paid for the original reservation). Cancellations for a single night's reservation will forfeit the entire use fee but no cancellation fee will apply. Group Facility: If a customer cancels a group overnight facility reservation within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date they will be charged the $10.00 service fee and forfeit the first night's use fee. Cancellations for a single night's use will not be assessed a service fee. Recreation.gov will not grant refund requests after 14 days of departure.__ Reservation Fee: For some facilities, tours or permits an additional reservation fee is charged. For some overnight and day-use facilities, an additional non-refundable reservation fee may apply. The non-refundable reservation fee for tours and tickets is $1.00. This 1,962-acre barrier island park has 60 campsites with electricity, water hookups and a dump station that is nearby. Six sites have concrete pads and walkways.
The campground is located behind historic dunes in the pine flatwoods. Although there are no ocean or gulf views, the campsites are only a quarter-mile from the beach and the gulf. There are two restrooms with hot showers, a playground, and a linear nature trail that meanders from the campground through the pine forests and coastal scrub.
Pets are welcome but must be kept on a six-foot leash controlled by the pet's owner. Pets are not allowed on the beach or in any facilities. There are six concrete campsites with connecting sidewalks to the restroom facilities.
Primitive carry-in, carry-out camping at Gap Point is accessible only by foot, via the 2.5-mile Gap Point Trail, or by canoe, kayak or other shallow drafting vessel. The two sites accommodate 12 people each.
Youth/group tent camping is available for organized groups up to 25 or a minimum of six people. Chaperones must remain with the group at all times. Restrooms, cold water showers, picnic tables and a campfire circle are available at the youth/group camp.
Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance of arrival for juvenile groups and up to 30 days in advance of arrival for adult groups. Juvenile group requests will not bump a prior adult group reservation made within the 30-day window.
Hammock camping opportunities are available in every campsite. Maximum RV length = 43 ft.

My sister and her husband stayed on the river and it was $75 a night for a Thursday Friday and Saturday night. Right on the Ochlocknee River going out to the gulf so you can catch redfish and trout off the pier at the site. Each riverfront has a cabana and picnic table with water and electric hookups.
What a great place! It’s a little close together but with the very long and spacious outdoor area near the water, it makes up for it. Great staff and communication during the reservations and after.

I have camped at many KOA campgrounds, and periodically, I've come across a shining star. This is one of those times. The staff at check-in was terrific, friendly, and just loved what they were doing. The campsites are well-spaced. The facilities are clean. My site A9 was a back-in site, newly added, with a gravel base, perfectly level, full hookups, and 96 channels of crystal clear cable TV. The internet speed was over the top. I was there for two nights and even got to spend time at the local bluegrass festival.
Nice campground. Helpful staff at check-in. It has a nice pool and is on the beach. Access is across Route 98, but the traffic was minimal. There is some road noise at site#39, but it is not bad. Level site, full hooks, cable TV, and good internet speeds. Getting the RV positioned was a little tricky. While the site is long enough, the sewer connection is closer to the front of the site, so we could not park at the back. We had to be positioned to reach the sewer connection and work our rear slide around a large palm tree. Site 39 backs up to the pool and park office. At busier times, there may be a lot of people traffic, but not during our stay. Also note that there are no firepit or grills provided at the site. You must have your own grill. We enjoyed our five-night stay here. IGA grocery store in Carrabelle is the closest. Fathom’s Steam Room and Raw Bar is an old Florida open-air restaurant and bar with live music. There is a small dog park in the resort. Lots to explore in the area: Carrabelle, Eastpoint, St George Island, Lighthouse, and State Park, Tate’s Hell State Forest, Crooked River Lighthouse, or just relaxing by the pool or on the beach.
The name of this resort is wrong in the Dyrt app. It's Carrabelle RV Resort. We stopped here for a few nights while traveling and exploring Florida. The resort was nice. Our site was #18. We could see the beach from our spot. The bathrooms were clean. Everyone there was super friendly. They had a nice size pool but I didn't use it. We found a museum .02 miles away and crooked lighthouse to explore.
This campground is so pretty! I think we have the best spot because we’re in the shade for about half of the day. The lake is really pretty and relaxing to sit by. The bathhouses are a bit on the older side, I know funding is not there to do much. We have a big, beautiful tree behind out site that we sat under. There was a nice breeze coming off the lake and it was great (even though it’s 94° out). The camp host came over to us the next day after we arrived and gave us great info about things to do and see around here. That was so very nice! We rode our bikes to the dam and then to the park that’s on the other side of the bridge.
We do need to talk about that huge hill getting down to the campground. Holy moly. I’m from southern Florida and we don’t have those near us. 🤣 It was intimidating to say the least. lol
Yes, we use the showers at the campground because we have kids and we like to spread out in a shower. Plus we don’t want to fill up our tank, go dump and then hook back up. That’s our preference and that’s what we like to do.
This cg is a great small one. It has three small loops. We stayed in loop A. It’s basically on the water. Big spacious sites, 50 amp, and water. Very clean cg and camp hosts very friendly. Several roads coming in were very steep down, but manageable with our 38 ft coach. Some trees in loop A. Restroom very outdated, but one in loop C is better. We road our bikes to the dam. Great time! FREE LAUNDRY!
Easy to find and roads in are OK. Not all that busy outside of hunting season. Four spots have a picnic table. Spots are reasonably private. Did have portable toilets but some drunk idiots smashed them. Does have a trash bin.
Visiting friends in Quincy, easy to reserve a last minute site. Pull through with FHU. Under $50 with our GS discount. Excellent Dog park(huge and clean with lots of grass and seating) Pool was behind our site, clean but didn’t use. Our 40” fifth wheel barely fit. The front sites, and back of the park were the best sites. Staff was friendly, and nice general store. Facilities were clean, but we didn’t use. Close to town I-10. Had fair connection with T-Mobile.

Such a fun time at the Forest Festival. Walked to it from the KOA. Didn’t use laundry but nice facilities and pool & hot-tub are clean and nice! Cute playground! Our site was my favorite yet! Cows and horses are on the property behind the KOA & come up to site 27! The site also has a swing and sunrise and sunsets are so beautiful across the pasture. The bench, table, fire ring at the site, is amazing! Staff is friendly and the store is stocked and cute. Mosquitos are bad so we had to use lots of bug spray.
Tallahassee RV is our favorite park. We camp there for FSU events (I.e. enrollments, visiting and graduation). Clean, orderly, reasonably priced, close to shopping, gas stations, LIQUOR stores (kidding sort of) and the FSU campus! Can’t go wrong with choosing this park. It’s a pull through!
All in all, we thought it was a pretty nice campground! We stayed in a tent at site 16 which was on the edge facing Lake Talquin and had electrical hookups, a water faucet, and picnic table. There was even a light pole that could be turned off at night if desired. The campground also provided a potable water station, bathrooms, shower (a bit dated but clean), and dumpsters. There are also multiple docks, 2 with benches, and a few to tie boats or kayaks off at. All the camp sites seemed to have gravel pads…The only downfall to our particular campsite was that it butted right up to the landing parking lot and a dock which has fairly heavy traffic. But it was also nice to see an FWC officer make their rounds one of the nights we stayed. Another downside was that the dumpster close by was emptied by a garbage truck at 5am Tuesday morning which wasn’t the best alarm clock. What was a nice alarm clock was the camp rooster that had been there a few years and drops by to say hello each day. We scoped out other sites for when we return!
I stayed two nights June 26-27 2019. The campground is very nice, small and quiet. The staff came around to check on us but was not a bother. The bathrooms are clean, running hot and cold water and paper. The bugs were bad even though we used spray and candles. It is a great quiet campground. Better in the cooler months.
We have a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow and stayed in site 64 for 4 days in mid April. This is a relatively small CG, with~15 wooded sites that are reasonably spaced. The CG is very clean, recently renovated, well maintained and relatively inexpensive. Most of the sites are water only, but there are a handful of them that also have 50A service. The roads and sites are sandy gravel. Our site had a little bit of slope side to side, but not too bad. There aren’t any hiking trails leading from the CG, but there are others in the area. There are no lights in the CG except the two on the bathhouse, which are unnecessarily as bright as the Sun
AT&T coverage was pretty dismal, with 1 bar of 5GE service and speeds only up to 0.9 MB/s. The CG has a lot of trees, but the pines only have top foliage, so access and coverage for DISH and Starlink was really good. Starlink was able to get speeds up to 20 MB/s with few if any dropouts. No CG WiFi.
Stayed here last year and fell in love with the park! Woke up every morning to a gorgeous view of the water. Owners are sweet people and very proud of their park.
The city has updated this campground. All sites are w/e with dump on site and large gravel pad. Back in and pull through are available on first come, first served basis. Some sites right beside the river. Playground for children. Rate: $35.00 self registration. No one onsite. Easy in/out for all size rigs on newly paved road. Paved walking or biking trails. Great in town location.
Only seven camp sites all of them next to one another. River runs along the border of the camp there is a boat launch.
We needed a one night stop & this was perfect. Made our reservations online the day before. Host called me the next morning to confirm arrival time. Hosts were very kind, and escorted us to our site. Site was big, level, and pull through with full hookups. Long term rigs were kept pretty clean as I could tell. We didn’t use any facilities so have no comment on those.

Newer Rv park owners converted from a former mobil home park. New gravel roads and pads. Newer electric service. Sites are level with picnic tables. Super nice couple owns and maintains this campground.

Mixed feelings about this campground. It has too many sites too close together, but if few people are there it is peaceful. We stayed on a weeknight. Several people used the boat ramp, but only one other camper. So the night was quiet. I could see how it could be well used for day picnics and fishing and could become quite noisy. The boat ramp is separated from the camp a bit, and it was not noisy.
Not much view of lake from sites, but the lake is pretty from the fishing pier and boat launch. A bit of trash in some sites but not too bad. I'm guessing someone does not come and check on this site every day. We were in a van and did not try the pit toilets.
It is about 3 miles from the main road, one mile of speed bumps, two of dirt, but it is level and well packed.
Absolutely beautiful! Tall trees and spacious spaces. Full hookups. They rake the spaces so they're nice and even. We still had a slight slope but not a big deal. Very quiet and beautiful! They have a pool, playground, and a clubhouse. We used our starlink with no problem.
