Love this Rustic & Quaint Family owned CG

FHU, picnic table and fire ring, gravel sites, firewood available, for purchase, all with amazing views! Bathhouse being built now, but. Shower & stall usable. Used our Starlink, but did get 1 bar with reception, on T-Mobile. Owners very friendly and responsive with any questions. Must use the directions, on their website, to get to the campground, as GPS is incorrect.

Small & Charming RV park!

Would highly recommend this adorable RV Park. Peaceful spot and we felt safe. Level gravel sites with nice FHUs! Owner Russel is very helpful & friendly and pays special attention to the landscaping with added touches, such as nice new picnic tables and a hammock at our sight, and charming outdoor decor! Close to Beaches, restaurants, shopping, and many area attractions! Walmart and Publix, with a pharmacy and liquor store, and a Citgo, just around the corner, on Hwy 98. Donut shop, Hibachi, laundry mat, coffee shop, and Murphy’s Vet clinic, literally across the street. I had Good reception with T-Mobile @ 4 bars.

Small but Nice!

Easy to find, well marked. It’s has many (12) trails and many falls. Would definitely recommend shopping before camping, it’s several miles, and mountains, to get to stores. There are several lodging options…cottages, The Lodge, (which is beautiful) tent and RV camping. There are 2 small campgrounds ~ 1) Ridgeline which accommodates RVs up to 26”, water and 10/30/50 amp hook ups. Sites have a fire ring and picnic table. WiFi is available, and there is a dump station. A small playground, office/campstore, and a bathhouse and laundry next to it. 3 sites are walk-in. Big rigs would have to stay elsewhere. 2) Clifty Campground is tent camping only 7 sites offer electric and water. WiFi is also offered. There is a bathhouse and a playground, and these CG’s are pet friendly. (Falls Creek is a few miles up the road…they have pull through and back ins. For bigger Rvs. They also have tents, wagons, cabin rentals, and primitive sites) We had no T-Mobile service, or satellite service in our vehicle. The trails and Cumberland falls were awesome. The horse rides looked amazing, and the Pool was big, with a diving board, and a small fee for campers to use it.

RV Heaven for ATV/OHV/SxS Camping!

Approximately 4 miles off of exit 144, from I~75. Easy to locate, and a well maintained RV campground! Website has all the info on the different types of sites, cabins and ATV’s. Resources for permits, pricing, and other requirements are also listed. The trails are accessible from the CG. FHUs on Back in and Pull-throughs,bathhouses, on site fishing pond, playground, and Ohhh yes….the ATV wash station! General store is on the right from the entrance, which is awesome! They sell firewood and ice, as well as extreme OHV sporting equipment/gear, snacks, souvenirs….to list a few. Rental cabins are available nearby, for larger families or groups. I believe they thought of almost everything! I would love to come camp here in the fall, as I can imagine that the views are spectacular! They provide WiFi, but my T-Mobile reception was good, at 3 bars.

Walmart off Hwy 25, in Jacksboro, TN

Big Walmart parking Lot, easy turn into the entrance, turning off of highway 25 W. There is a Subway, and also a “SmartStyle” salon, inside this Walmart. There is a strip mall next-door, with several stores and a McDonald’s at front entrance. The hours are 6am~11pm. Good reception with 3 bars with T-Mobile.

Primitive camping at its best!

Primitive isn’t our mode of camping, but we rode our bikes up the road to check out this beautiful campground. Easy to find, marked with a sign. The road to the campground forks to the left, past the State Park entrance sign. There are plenty of picnic tables and trash cans, before the trails. There is also a mutt mitt station. And an info board, with trail & State Park map.The state park offers 5 trails, pavilions, as well as playgrounds and a lake. Since it’s extremely hot, and there were several areas along the trail with ponds, the biting flies and mosquitoes were active! The camping path and sites were well marked, and sites started at #10, next to the parking lot, and family bathhouse. There are fire pits at each site. The sites are semi private, and 1-9-10 are the most popular sites used, according to the Ranger. No one was camping when we were there on a Sunday afternoon. I posted a video of us biking out of the trail campsites, getting #8, on the right, 9 on left, #10 last, then back at the beginning, to the bathhouse and parking lot.

Mountain View Galore!

Back-in site, FHUs, concrete pad, some shade. Fire pit and picnic table at each site, ours is located behind our site. There are 2 playgrounds, Disc golf course, volleyball area, a beautiful lake(with rental paddle boats for $14 hr) We Bought fire wood and Disc Golf sets, at the campground store. Clean with coded entry Bathhouse, by one of the playgrounds. There is an 18 hole Disc Golf we will be playing. We Love the views, and are looking forward to trying out the 5 trails this weekend! The lake is beautiful with geese and ducks hanging out! We used our Starlink over 100Mps, and our T-Mobile had fair reception. There are also 2 playgrounds at the SP!

Convenient on/off I-75

Heading North exit 56~directly on the right side. Easy truck entrance. Back and side parking for resting. Came around 2:30pm, busy but easy flow! Also has a truck service station, in the back, left parking lot. Wendy’s inside the Pilot, clean bathrooms, awesome coffee/soda station!

Beautiful State Park, something for everyone!

Visited Lake Guntersville State Park, for the day. After taking our granddaughter to Screaming Eagle Zip-line Adventures, located at the gorgeous Lodge, we visited the Campground…and it’s amazing! At the office, we were helped by Rocky, who was friendly and knowledgeable! We received CG info and a map, as well as rates. We are already planning our next trip to visit! The general store was stocked with necessities, as well as souvenirs. Of course we had to get some ice cream! There are several types of sites, monthly, cabins and tent camping. There are boat slips (local rentals) and a Pavilion on the water, basketball and tennis courts, playground, shady dog park, splash pad, and clean bathhouses. Firewood and ice can be purchased at the store. There are also many trails to hike and bike . It is easy to see that this SP is well maintained! The SP Lodge is worth visiting, which has a nice restaurant. LGSP has a golf course, and the quaint town is close by and has shopping and several restaurants.

Beautiful County Park, near Lake Guntersville SP, on TN River

Marshall County Park, is easy to find/see right on 431. Nothing fancy, but well maintained property, and plenty of room for parking and boating.

Ample parking N.Huntsville Costco

We Visited Costco on Monday, late afternoon(attatched is Costo Gas.) Busy area, off of Memorial Pkwy. Easy access to the Northside of the parking lot, by turning off of Country Club. This would be the overnight parking spot, and easy turn in for bigger RV’s. Next door is a 5 Guys, (clean restaurant and great burgers) and a Dunkin Donuts. There is also a Firestone, and next door to a Home Depot.

Huntsville University Drive Supercenter

There is Lots of parking, for any type of RVs, on the Southside of the lot. A group of stores are in a small strip mall. and it has a Subway inside. Store hours are 6a-11p. Many restaurants are in front of the store, including a Wendy’s & McDonald’s. An IHOP is directly across the street. There is also a Petco, next door.

Busy, Home Depot in N.Huntsville

Visited here on Monday, late afternoon. Busy area and roads. Supplies and Sheds are in the parking lot on the N.W. side of the parking lot. This front corner area, would be the best to park something small. There is a Zaxbys and a Starbucks on the East side. There is also a B.A.M. and Costco next door, with a larger parking lot.

Trailhead Land Trust Parking

Passed on our way to Monte Sano Campground. Took video and pics around 6p. Easy to find, well marked. Plenty of shade, and also has a small pull through area~van or small pop-up would fit. Trail map posted, and trails marked. NICE bike repair station, covered trash cans, mutt~mitt station, and a bench.

Sam’s Club Location N. Huntsville

Most Western side/corner parking lot, has ample parking. As soon as you turn into the parking lot, off of University Drive, it is on the right. There is also a Sam’s Club Gas Station, at this location.

Great Overnight Spot~close to Quincy & Torrey State Park

Visiting friends in Quincy, easy to reserve a last minute site. Pull through with FHU. Under $50 with our GS discount. Excellent Dog park(huge and clean with lots of grass and seating) Pool was behind our site, clean but didn’t use. Our 40” fifth wheel barely fit. The front sites, and back of the park were the best sites. Staff was friendly, and nice general store. Facilities were clean, but we didn’t use. Close to town I-10. Had fair connection with T-Mobile.

Beautiful, North Alabama State Park

Scenic Mountain View! Arrived and greeted by staff at the State Park guard gate, then checked into campground at separate office. Map and instructions given. Nice gravel back-in-site, water and 50amp hook ups. Picnic table and fire-ring at each site. Lots of trees. Sites spaced but not private, not at 33. Lots of traffic , since it is at the entrance and lots of kids riding bikes behind our site as well as tents directly in front of us. Will venture out and explore after the rain, and update as I get info. We Have Starlink, still with very poor reception((under 50) and little to no connectivity with T-Mobile. Would not reserve here for 2 weeks again at this site, for lack of privacy and for partial hook ups.

Camped here with RV purchase

Stayed at site 13, level gravel sites with picnic table on concrete pad, fire ring, FHU. Extended stays at the back of park and closer to hwy 20. There is a nice dog park, playground, covered pavilion, laundry room, dated bathroom, but clean. Shirley reserved our spot, and helped us pull through, and hook up, with our new RV! There is a little path/bridge, so We walked over to Camping World to get our bigger RV. The next morning, we had a few questions, so the Camping World service employee, came over (on a golf cart)to answer them. We decided to stay another night, and it was easy enough for Shirley to extend our reservation. If we were in the area again we would go back. There is a lot to do in the area….Talladega National Forest, Talladega SuperSpeedway and Cheaha State Park.T-Mobile was good, and paid about $30 night with Good Sam Discount. This Campground is also known as CWGS Campground of Oxford.

Good for RV spot overnight

Stayed here because it was so close, literally a block away, from the Mississippi Colosseum, for granddaughters cheer competition. We checked it and were greeted at arrival, with information packet. FHU, back-in concrete pad, and small dog park. A nice clubhouse and facilities, although we did not use. Directly across the street from the beach, perfect for photos. Clean pool but too cold to use. Very close to neighbors and backed up to apts, which the garbage truck came super early on Sat, dumpster on other side of fence. We were up early, but if you like relaxing and peacefulness, probably not my choice. Close to lots of area attractions, stores and restaurants. Many closed for off season, however. Waffle House next door to RV park. Good for short stay!

Great Georgia State Park!

Easy to reserve online! Water and electric hookups. Arrived after hours, and an info packet was waiting for us. Only stayed the weekend for cheer competition at the Savannah Convention Center, approximately 30 minutes away. Unfortunately the rain was full on while we were there, our site got a bit muddy. Friday evening was nice, and we were able to make s’mores, with the fire ring that was at the site, also a picnic table. And there is Lots of space between sites, great updated playground for the kids. The bathrooms are clean! Cute on site info center….Lots of nature! Many stores and quaint restaurants near the campground. Would recommend and we would reserve here again!
