The upside of this paved pitstop parking pad is that it rests right next to I95, making it conveniently EZ to access. And while close proximity to a major highway has its obvious downsides, this Bass Pro Shop faces east, which somehow shields you from the traffic and noise from this major thoroughfare (from the west). While I can imagine this retailer gets jam-packed busy on the weekends, when we stopped by on an early Friday evening, I would estimate the place was only 30% occupied with substantial parking availability for larger rigs and RVs on its northernmost flanks.
The main parking for shoppers is directly east of the store, so that likely is an area you’d want to avoid if at all possible. If you looked at the parking potential overall, it’s fairly large, pretty well-paved and level with decent night time lighting. The retail neighbor to the east is Home Depot and in addition to this orange home fixer upper, there are other major retailers around this area that also offer up not just additional parking opportunities, but will help you load up on any supplies should you need any for the trip.
