Best Campgrounds near Perris, CA

Rvs to Close, most people live here. It is very well kept. No trash around, bathrooms pool laundry the grounds are pretty and you can see lake. There are a few full timers and we had a couple really bad incidents in out new trailer and he came on property threatening. They did absolutely nothing.

Great place to ride atvs and enjoy the beauty of the lake and surrounding areas. There are no designated spots or fire rings, but as long as you're careful and responsible, there are plenty of rocks to build your own.

I stayed here on two nights, one week apart. The electrical connection at my sites were old and almost unusable. The internet was non-existent. Finally, one of the men’s toilets was still broken after a week’s time. There was nasty water on the floor of the bathroom both times. The morning I woke up on the second stay, both commodes were out of order! Why pay $54/night for a poorly managed campground with no working toilets?

The KOA is reasonably priced for KOA and California. 3 hot spring tubs. Pool is warm and wall stops wind. Many activities for kids miniature golf, jump board, play ground. Many activities for adults as well the staff are very nice and helpful.

We loved this RV park. Easy 15 min drive to Disney plus the ART bus picks up straight from the campground. A covered play area, helpful staff, heated pool as well as a hot tub. The grounds are very well kept and grocery stores within 10 min.

Stayed here for just one night. During winter you have to enter the dirt road off Polique Canyon RD (2N09) as the shorter route (the way gps will go) off Van Dusen Canyon (3N09) is closed during winter months. This is a nice camp area and easy to get to. Lots of area to hike through, I hiked up a hill not too far away to watch the sunset. Even during winter there was still 7 other groups there, but plenty of room for all of us. It was nice to have bathrooms there.

Easy travel dirt roads. There are only 3 actual sites with fire rings, but there is plenty of room to camp without rings. 5g Verizon works great.

This campground could be a 5 rating...level,paved, separated FHU sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Hiking and bike trails. Lots of birds. Fishing. Wide open spaces. BUT the campground bathrooms are not well maintained...no hot water, handle fell off shower, and not clean. Some reviews mentioned train noise...trains do go by but we did not find them to be overly obnoxious...we have had way worse

This place was nice. Great sense of community and great placement of the gates for safety purposes. Lots of food spots within 10 minutes. Spaces are one of the cleanest I seen. Ranger is on constant patrol. Low-key felt like bikini bottom. Only knock is… no wifi. Great spot overall though

You can be camping 20-30 mins away from Irvine. Facilities are clean and well maintained. We stayed at 42 which was right across the from the bathrooms, the noise was manageable and it was convenient to be close to the facilities. The other side was the river but it was dry. It’s a nice camping spot for beginners or just a place to get away.

I really have come to love Dripping Springs campground. There's a great hike right out the end of the campground, although it gets HOT because this is more desert land than forest. I've stayed in a few sites and I think 14 has become my favorite even though you are kind of exposed, it's huge and it's away from all the other sites. I did see a baby scorpion in the bathroom once, so beware. There's a nice little cafe down the road and a winery a bit further that I like with a beautiful view.

Perfect to get out of the city but still be in it. Campgrounds have more than enough privacy with each one being about 15 to 20 yards apart. A ton of recreational things to do. Quiet at night.

Nice place, beautifull views, good bar. Rustic place for camping. Just to sleep, no services.

I brought my family with our 2 dogs for Thanksgiving and unfortunately we left early because it was a major danger for our dogs with the very bold and brave coyotes.

We tent camped but I feel like if we had an RV it would have been safer for the dogs.. for us alone with out the dogs, tent camping would have been fine!

Other than that. BEAUTIFUL!!! We loved every single moment from the colorful drive up to the stars and checking out the observatory which was also pet friendly. It’s SO FUN to see all the different color leaves and the sunsets, the sunrises, the crisp air, the views on the way up….all of it was so beautiful.

Just spent two weeks here including thanksgiving holiday. we watched this park fill to capacity the day before the holiday. We liked it better when there were a few empty spaces. It’s just how it is at RV parks like this-not much room. BUT- go out the locked gate at the back of the grounds, walk thru a park and across a (not too busy) street and there is the Pacific Ocean. The beach was hit hard by storms over the past year apparently and much sand has washed away. Leaving most of the beach covered in a thick layer of smooth river stones. Not easy to keep your balance on but doesnt hinder your walk to the surf too badly. We have loved our time here walking on the beach with our dog. This RV park is clean, has amenities like community room pool hot tub outdoor gathering area with tables with propane fireplace built in. It is also pretty expensive.

Roads were bumpy but made it in a super low clearance rv (21ft). Had the place all to ourselves. A bit close to the other sites. Not bad

Very cute set up tent sites are right next to road but it’s not to busy of a road. They have a basketball court one, lake for fishing or swimming and paddle boats to go out on the lake. There are tv hook ups and cabins. I did not see any fire pits on sites. Bathrooms are ok and have locks which you need code for.

Sweet campsite at Dana point surf break. Had a big crew along for spring break. Super nice but book early!

Growing up my family went on a few camping trips; mostly to Arizona to visit the ghost towns but when we wanted to go take a weekend trip and didn't want to leave state we would stay at the Catalina Spa Rv Resort in town. I remember my brother and I having so much fun running around or riding our bikes through the many turnaround streets at this park. They have an awesome pool and jacuzzis to use and a very large pond that all year round has ducks, birds, frogs, fish and turtles to look at. They have a friendly staff and the travelers were always very sweet and kind. The only town fall was that usually there isn't very many kids there, mostly older people come here to stay. They have. Gym and a game room. Lots of shade in rv parking areas and small bbq and tables to enjoy. Definitely worth checking it out !
