Nice little camping area by the beach. If you are on the roadside it can get a little noisy. Fun place to get away for a couple of days
It was ok for one night - would probably try to find another spot for a more relaxing time. They allowed pets, but couldn’t take my dog on the trail down to the beach which was a bummer. Also had to pay for showers - bring cash to get tokens!! The water was hot but when I pay for a campsite like…

Bolsa Chica is one of my favorite “in the city” places to go and relax. Nothing better than an ocean view and a fire pit!

We stay premium site(Beach front) and it's worth it. The restroom building have only two toilet but have 6 locked shower room, it's really not enough. It's less than 20 minutes walking distance to Starbucks and others shop.

You should try to book a campsite in advance, but it's not always necessary. We camped here once before and again over the Christmas break. Even though it rained, we totally had a blast! There's plenty of hiking trails, a nature center, and even a playground. The playground was super helpful for…

This is part of San Onofre State Beach. The campground is situated between the freeway, Camp Pendleton, and the city of San Clemente. Some campsites offer views of the river basin behind the campground. It is full of huge powerlines and you can see some marine facilities. It is a short hike under…
We stayed here the beginning of December. It was just the one night but the fire ring was nice and you could see stars. The people beside us were loud, but everything quieted down around 11. Nice gravel trail to the ocean was awesome in the morning. It took about 10mins to get to trestles parking.…
It was nice! Very clean! The boardwalk was endless and great to walk the dog and go for a run! Restaurants all around to have dinner at!
Don’t be afraid of coming here. Very cheap. Close from the beach and civilizations. Very well maintained. Big lots. Nice trails around.
Spent about 5 nights at San Onofre. It was close-ish To Disneyland and had nice amenities.
Showers were coin operated, but at least Hot.
Biggest con: Dump station cost $10 to use!!
A little drive to beach , not on the beach, closest beach is Onofre and it's mainly for surfers
Staff here is really nice. Really beautiful has quite a bit of wild life. For Weekends you need a reservation weekdays just call to check but you should be fine. right now there is no running water in the pipes which is fine since we brought our own water. No bathroom no shower. Yes porta potty. It…

Overall great beach camping. I've been coming to this campground with my family for a long time now. The spaces will up quickly on the weekends, so it's smart to make a reservation way ahead of time. Admittedly the camping spots are hit or miss. Some are on pavement and some are actually on the…

We like coming here. It’s close to our home in San Diego. Spots are decent sized. Concrete pads for the RVs. Level. Decent facilities and they had a pop up store from 11am to 3pm on Saturday. Selling clothing primarily. Nice hikes near by. ATT cell phone service 2 bars for the most part. This is…
It's a nice park great for long walks and trail riding on bikes great for the dog 🐕 also a bit windy so you need to keep a eye on your awning, great cell service with at&t .
