Rocks!

Lots to climb. Lots of spots, some with standard set up (covered table, fire pit) others near big rocks with fire ring. Bring water. Multiple toilets.

Loved this spot!!

A little gem hiding out in Lytle Creek! Easy access to a pretty trail right behind the campground. Very quiet and interspersed with long time stayers and temporary campers. I stayed in my van and had my cat and dog with me. Campfire wood was easily available and had its own picnic table. Beautiful…

Small state park campground.

This is the perfect little get away. I'll add there is electric outlets in the modern restrooms that are handy if you aren't prepared to camp without electric. Just please don't abuse them.

Not bad but could be decieving

The campground wasn't terrible, as it had alot of amenities like showers, bathrooms, dump station, fire pits, picnic tables, etc. The front gate was kind of odd and annoying at times as you would have to wait but once it was open some people would sneak into the campground during the day basically…

Hidden gem in the desert!

Basic simple campsite but there is water and bathrooms available. Each site has a fire pit, grill, picnic tables and a Ramada to provide shade and block the wind.

Nice camping place with bathrooms, shower, firepit and a charcoal grill.

Nice place to camp, weather is around 75 during the day and about 50 to 36 degrees cold through out the night. Has everything you'll need. Bathrooms are close by, showers HOT water available. Camping sites are too close together. Other than that it's great. Not many people this time a year. Had a…

Beautiful Off-season Stay

My review is only 4 stars because the sites are so close together AND you’re right off the road. In the busy season, you’d be no more than 12-16 feet away from your neighbors.

However, my dog and I had a lovely stay. Neighbors were very few, quiet, and the restrooms were more than adequate. I…

Glamping or Tent Camp Hi Desert has it all

Really great place not far from Los Angeles. Perfect place for a quick getaway out of the city. Close to hikes and much more. Beautifully placed in a juniper forest. They have glamping sites with comfortable beds and much needed privacy. Clean toilet at top of site and propane fire pits. Also if…

Views, peace and quiet desert

We had an amazing time at The Land!! The location is seriously so cool- only an hour out of town, and you get huge views over the valley as well as mountains, and the sunsets light up the entire sky. This was our first time camping in this area, and we were totally blown away by how peaceful and…

Love it!

Total first come first serve campgrounds. One, maybe two, bathrooms that are usually always stocked with toilet paper and are very clean. Plenty of room between sites so you feel secluded, but there is room to meet neighbors as well!! Absolutely love it. Offroad trails nearby too!

Peaceful, large sites and clean

Dogwood Campground is peaceful, sites are a good size and clean. We spent four nights the first week of October at Dogwood and the weather was in the low 70’s during the day and high 40’s at night. The main road is near, and you will hear some road noise but only noticed it when a loud truck or…
