Nice find

Overall a great campground. It was very large and decently spread out. Our site was on top of a hill next to a valley, which got pretty windy one of the nights. There is a bar and grill at the entrance to the campground. That’s where we checked in.

Great campground

This was our first trip to this campground and we were not disappointed. The campground is very large with a lot of campsites. We got site 41 as a first come first serve site. It was in the main road in/out so we had some traffic. They have several pit toilets throughout the campground. Not fancy but they do the job. Our site was fairly secluded. Overall the sites are speed out pretty well. We did see a few that were closer together but they had good tree coverage.

This is a great campground and it was only an hour drive for us from San Bernardino area. We will definitely be going back.

The North Loge at the entrance to the campground is a cool spot to grab a drink and see live music.

A Great Spot!

We found this campground as a last minute spot but it has become a favorite of ours. Quite and beautiful sunsets. Friendly staff and has the lodge close by for live music and festivities.

Clean, Quiet Campground

This campground is immaculate. Vault toilets, but you can tell they’re regularly cleaned. There’s a lodge with food and beer - they were hosting a stargazing party during our stay. 10/10

Great for quick camping trip!

We love this campground for quick getaways. Lots of non-reservable sites so you can usually find a nice shady spot. Most sites are a decent distance from neighbors.

Nice campground with lots of amenities nearby

We've stayed at Table Mountain several times. It's a nice, clean campground with lots of great hiking and mountain biking trails nearby. You also have the disc golf course and North Lodge run by Mountain High, which is in walking distance from the campground. The camp host was a little spacey, and ended up giving our spot away to someone else even though we secured the site early that morning and she promised it was ours. There is some firewood available for purchase and pit toilets, but no electricity/water hookups if you have an RV. There are water spigots however. About 5 minutes away is the village of Wrightwood, which has lots of cute restaurants and shops. I recommend Mile High Pizza, Blue Ridge Inn (fancy) and Evergreen Cafe for breakfast. Mexico Lindo is good too for margaritas and Mexican food. You can also go zip lining about 5 minutes away at the Ziplines at Pacific Crest. For hiking, I recommend the Blue Ridge Trail, which begins down near the stone tower at the nature center, and the JPL/Nasa road, located halfway up to the campground. A little further away, the Vincent Gap area takes you the Miner Vincent Mine or up to Mount Baden Powell.

Quiet and clean with a lot of shaded spots. The campground management is very helpful and nice. I’d camp there again and again!

Great Views

This large campground neighboring the ski lifts offers phenomenal views, but be forewarned that it can be incredibly windy — especially for those edge sites with the most worthy views.

Quiet with Views

Great spot, clean vault toilets, and a good view. Only downside was the incredible high number of yellow jackets in the area and a fire restriction.

Great Car Camping

I took my co-workers here and they loved it! We had campsite 101, which was beautiful. It didn't have the sweeping views that a few of the campsites have, but it was probably the most isolated campsite in the campground, so it was great for us because we tend to stay up by the fire talking late. Sunsets and sunrises were stunning. A local warned us of wind but it wasn't a big issue. The campground manager was great.

Beautiful and quiet

We just went up for the day (you can actually use the sites for $12 for day-use), and it was super quiet and lovely. Great views from all over the campground. It did start to get windy in the afternoon, and I think that might be true for most days because the campground is up on the very top of that part of the mountain. Most of these sites would be hard to get an RV in, and some of the sites are pretty sloped for big tents, but seems like a great place to get away! There are a couple of trails right from the campground too. Also there is a lodge open right next to the campground if you wanted to eat out for a lunch or dinner!

Great view

I stayed in site 49 and it has a great view during sunset and a couple of great places for a hammock. The ground is a little slanted in most of the sites but not enough that it’s not tolerable

Perfect weekend retreat!

We just camped here last weekend with my son’s Boy Scout troop. We had a quad site which was great for a group. The camp host was friendly and helpful. You can buy wood from him for $8 a bundle if you didn’t bring enough.

The views are lovely, although some sites don’t have a ton of flat space if you have a great view!

Toilets were clean, fully stocked. Water pipe was useful. Each site has a bear locker, picnic table and fire ring.

Incredible views in traditional, amenity-filled campground!

Went here in May and had a wonderful experience. Wasn’t too crowded and had incredible views in Angeles forest. If you have a chance after - drive the whole Angeles crest highway! Worth the trouble. You are also located close to the PCT, take a hike!

Great Time With Bare Minimum

There are bathroom stalls and running water but is not drinkable. Has an elevated bear safe with a pit and picnic table. Overall was a great experience and a great view looking over the entire city. Good amount of trees to also hang hammocks if need be. There are lake and plenty of trails around the site to go out on a day hike. Allows up to two cars per each single lot.

AWESOME

We got a campsite that was on the outside of the loop. We were in Cherokee loop in campsite #87. Nestled really high up...and 10 minutes away from Mountain High Mountain Resort, is the large campsite of Table Mountain. The vault toilets were fine, the campfire rings were good to go, and the whole campsite rests on the top of a mountain. We had a great time wandering around taking in the treeline scenery. During the day the insects get a little more aggressive, but it's nothing a little bug spray couldn't fix.
