This is a small .62 acre lot in a forested area with privacy and seclusion. Located .1 miles from Museum of Automobiles and 1.5 miles from Petit Jean State Park.

The circle drive allows Class B motorhomes or small trailers to access camping area near unnamed intermittent creek. Recently completed horseshoe court and both North and South walk in tent pads provide two new options for tent placement.

Petit Jean SP is Arkansas' first state park and is the second most visited park in Arkansas. Fabulous day hiking or overnight backpacking in and around the park. Also, nearby is a petting zoo, horseback riding and farmers market.

You are required to book for the 5th - the 9th, but you can show up and leave anytime! The total rate is $350 for 4 nights, for 4 people. 1 car per site, and dogs are welcome!!

We are opening up our facility for the 2024 Eclipse! 4 minutes and 10 seconds of totality! We have everything you will need to make your trip to the Arkansas River Valley stress free and enjoyable to view the total eclipse in April 8, 2024. This will be considered primitive camping, but we have bathrooms and showers. We also have electricity, but not at most of the camp sites. This will be a tent only facility. No campers please. We will also have good wholesome food on site from morning to evening.

The cost will be $350 for Friday the 5th through Tuesday morning the 9th of April. You will have to make your reservation with a $50 non-refundable deposit. You can also call to reserve! Checkout can be anytime by Tuesday Noon on the 9th of April. We are adding a special page to our website, so if it is not there when you check us out, please be patient.

Long Pool Recreation Area lies along beautiful Big Piney Creek and offers visitors a variety of recreational opportunities: camping, picnicking, swimming, canoeing, fishing and hiking. Big Piney, a nationally designated a Scenic and Recreational River, offers visitors a variety of recreational experiences. A large natural pool, steep rock bluffs, and captivating forests are just a few examples of the natural beauty surrounding this recreation area. The recent addition of another camping loop offers 20 camping sites with water & electrical hook-ups. This camping loop is open year round. Long Pool Recreation Area is located within the Piney Creeks Wildlife Management Area, which provides hunting opportunities for many types of game during open seasons. Old Post Road is a camping hotspot at Dardanelle Lake, with numerous opportunities for boating, biking, hiking and birding.  
  
The river valley is a favorite winter destination for bald eagles.

Boating and fishing are the top activities, and a boat ramp is provided for convenient lake access.   
  
Soccer and baseball fields and tennis courts offer additional recreation opportunities, and a biking trail also starts at the campground.

The 37 reservable campsites offer have water and electric hookups. A playground and multiple picnic areas make the park perfect for families and parties.

## Natural Features

Perched between the Ozark and Ouachita National Forests, Dardanelle Lake creates an excellent setting for nature lovers. The lake, sourced by the Arkansas River, spans 40,000 acres and boasts 315 miles of shoreline. A variety of hardwoods surround the lake shore.

The nearby Holla Bend National Wildlife Refuge offers excellent wildlife viewing and photography.
