Located on the shores of cool, flowing waters of the Spring River in a small community in the northeast section of Arkansas. Ideal for trout fishing and year-around floating. Mammoth Spring RV Park is a Campground, RV Park and Cabin Rentals. Bathhouse with Hot Water and Flush Toilet, Dumpster, small bait and camp store. Dog Friendly Park. Every Spot Is Steps From The Famous Spring River.
Small very tidy and spacious campground. Stayed in tent. Clean showers and restroom. $45 for tent site with electrical connection and water.
Was extremely dissatisfied with the whole experience. Bad service with staff and dirty accommodations. Noisey at night. Never going back. Also overpriced.
This campground was perfect for our little family reunion near Paragould. We booked three sites together and they were close enough that it was easy to visit each other. It was also a very nice little campground with lots of shade and the bathrooms were very clean and had showers. We also enjoyed the little lake and playground for the kids. The only downside were the mosquitoes, but one of us had a screened canopy that went over the picnic table, which worked great. We were very impressed with the staff and the campground and will likely return.
Wonderful spacious sites, nicely groomed lawns, clean showrr houses, very helpful hosts- very relaxing place to be
Sites are easy to get into and the camp area is kept very clean. Hiking trails right out of the campground for short daily adventures.
Wow, what an incredible weekend we had at the CurrantRiver Campground From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of adventure. The campground itself was well-maintained, with clean facilities and spacious campsites that offered just the right amount of privacy.
The highlight of our trip was, of course, the canoeing experience. The staff provided top-notch equipment and safety instructions, making us feel confident even though we were beginners. Paddling down the scenic Currant River was an absolute joy. The water was crystal clear, and the surrounding nature was breathtaking. We encountered some gentle rapids, which added a thrill to the journey without being too challenging for novices like us.
One thing that stood out was the wildlife we spotted along the way – eagles, deer,It felt like a true escape into nature.
The team made our trip unforgettable. They were knowledgeable about the area, provided great tips for navigating the river, and ensured our safety at all times. We also appreciated the convenience of shuttle service back to the campground after our float trip.
Overall, this place exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return. If you're looking for a relaxing yet adventurous getaway in the heart of Missouri this is it
Beautiful place to camp. Everyone running the park was super nice and accommodating. The only drawback that I can think of was the mosquitos. Shower house/bathroom cleaned and well maintained.
Jake from the Dyrt here! Sullana Farm has a great remote location for campers looking to pitch a tent or even bring the RV in. Check them out and share some pics on the Dyrt!
Everything about this park is amazing. They recently redid the swimming area and cleaned and refilled with better water. They have paddle boats you can rent from Memorial Day through Labor Day. We have stayed many trips in this park. Site 1 is our favorite. Features pull through with a large area including tent pad and nice gathering area. We glamp camp and we’re able to set up a 16x20 tent, but the tent did go over the size of the pad. All sites have water and electricity, except for a few primitive sites. There is a nice campground and walking area. Also a great hiking trail which isn’t too hard. The park is close to Paragould with a Walmart and a dollar general is a couple miles away. The only site I wouldn’t recommend is site 9. It has a very steep hill and would only be good for very small campers or tent camping.
We stopped in for an overnight and weren't impressed when we got there. The trees are overgrown and the spots are very poorly laid out. We have a 37 foot 5er and had to do some difficult maneuvering to get turned around when we left. The owner took cash only, didn't register us in any way, and frankly overcharged for what we got.
This campground offers monthly rentals but also a place to hook up for a night or two. This is good for a one night rental when passing through. Expect noise from the interstate. This is not a typical “campground” but gets the job done for an overnight stay.
$10 per night, firewood, ice, and more amenities on site. The owner is so nice. His dog Lil' Dan also slept with me. There is a horse next to the camp sites and it's just so beautiful. Float launches from the campground, so convenient. Close to Grand Gulf, Greer Spring, Mammoth Spring, and right on beautiful highway 19. I will be back soon!
Beautiful, peaceful, smaller campground with a small lake, a river, hiking trails and historic sites with interpretive signage. We had a 50amp FHU site and were able to get our 44' 5th wheel in site #2, which allowed us a lovely view of the lake. It would be easier to back rigs into the sites if they didn't have the wooden signs at the entrance to each site with the site#, but we got in with lots of back and forthing. Larger sites, beautiful trees and surrounded by the changing colors of the leaves in mid-October.
They did a stellar job of putting in sites on this ridge. They're pretty level although pretty close together. Water & electric and reasoonably priced. Both ATT & Verizon worked well. The wifi info listed above must be at the office only, as there was not signal near us, we use a hot spotor our phones.
Site was spacious. Right near the water .beach was spacious but very rocky and the water was freezing even in the 105 degree heat it has a nice play area .nice play for a day or two trip and there are no hot showers until ????

30amp electrical breaker bad.
Tripped twice in 8 hours.
Single lane campground road extremely tight. If campsites across from ours wasn’t empty, it would of been extremely difficult to get our 28ft backed-in
Our reserved campsite#4 was occupied upon our arrival and campers tried to convince us to take another site that they were suppose to move to, but it was much smaller, so we declined
Never saw any rangers patrolling campground

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend. Every site was booked but not crowded. Had a wonderful time fishing and hiking the 1.3 mile trail. This was our first stay, but will return. No Cell service for ATT. There is WiFi at the bathhouse, but was very sketchy due to the busy weekend. No swimming at the park. It is not allowed. Fishing is catch and release only except for Catfish and Brim due to recently reopening the lake.
We stayed here to utilize their shuttle services for kayaking the 11 point. It was the week before the Memorial Day holiday and we had the place to ourselves! There are bathrooms available and hot showers, awesome people to chat with and a cool dog named Dan. We stayed in the primitive camping section but were informed there are also cabins available. Our site was just what we needed with a Rim fire pit and a couple of picnic tables. Richards definitely catered to us as we decided at the last minute to take another float and they jumped right in and made it happen for us. The convince of having your own vehicle waiting for you after a long day of floating is worth every dime you pay for it! I would highly recommend Richards for their shuttle services and camping area.
With the word RIDGE in it's name you pretty much know what to expect. These folks made it work. All sites are pretty level. if not level. Water & electric at all sites with picnic table, fire rine and stand up BBQ grill. Nice tree lined road, albeit very tight with on comming trafic, as are their interior roads. ATT & Verizon cell services were both useable just not the strongest..
Got here Sunday afternoon there wereo only3 others. With my disability pass the one night was only $12.79, tax & all.
This was a great nightover for us and would stay here again, but not as destination park.
Stayed one night tent camping. We enjoyed that the park had several different short hiking trails of various length. Only downside was I wish the tent camping spots were spread out a little further, you can hear eachother's conversations because they are all side by side, maybe 15 yards a part.
This campground was designed perfectly with family and couples in mind. The sites aren't very big but they are set up in such a way that even if someone parks next to you, it will not ruin your view. The amenities they have are beyond belief and the staff cannot be more kind. I'm so glad we tried this resort. Look forward to many many many more visits
We actually stay here unlike the other reviews that were written before the rv park was opened. I don't get why they left a one star when they were never guests at the rv park. I think that the people at "the dyrt" have some explaining to do over this because that is not right.
We love this rv park and the people who run it are great. They are quick to help and are working on making this place great.
Nice and quite away from people
Another great Arkansas State Park! The campground is small, but the sites are nice. Arkansas has some of the best bathhouses as well! There is a really nice playground and also a walking trail that you can access from the campground.
The lake has finally been repaired and they have begun the refill process after is has been dry for several years.
The town of Harrisburg is close by in case you need to make a store run or grab some food. There is a small store here at the park, but it was closed while we were here, so I’m not sure how much stuff they have to offer.
Great I need to know how much a month if I put my RV or my camper on and stay in it
This place has not been maintained well in a long time. It could be greatly improved with some sweat equity, but it’s obvious that nobody wants to take the time to do so
Do not waste your money on this campground. Very rude staff and very dangerous electrical system!
