Spring River Oaks

Anglers and paddlers gain direct access to the Spring River at this private campground, located just downstream from a fish hatchery. The facility sits along three miles of dirt and gravel road, which can challenge low-clearance vehicles during wet conditions.

Spring River Oaks provides electric and water hookups for RVs, plus a dump station for waste disposal. Tent camping is available alongside RV sites. Cathy W. notes the campground offers "excellent waterfront views" along the river corridor. A small on-site store stocks basic supplies, though full shopping requires a trip to town. Train noise carries from tracks behind the campground, particularly noticeable during overnight hours.

Site conditions and service quality vary significantly based on recent visitor experiences. Some campers report concerns about electrical systems and cleanliness standards. The campground allows pets and offers reservations for advance planning.

Hardy Camper Park sits just 0.1 miles south for campers preferring a different riverside setting.

Bad experience

Was extremely dissatisfied with the whole experience.   Bad service with staff and dirty accommodations.  Noisey at night.  Never going back.  Also overpriced.

Not a bad site here

Ok forget the ever running trains not to far from back of campground or the 3 mile drive on a dirt and gravel road, this is a beautiful park. The river that runs through it has great fishing. (Just down from fish hatchery) Just wish they had sewer sites available. Staff was great and very friendly. Beautiful falls nearby.

Spring River Oaks

Great place to take the family. Water hook ups , electric , dumping station . Camp in tents , rvs. No pets. Camping along the Spring river with excellent waterfront views. Small store on the campground for necessities and close enough to local shopping in town.
