Very strict breed restrictions

This campground has extremely strict breed restrictions for dogs. The receptionist was quite rude about it as well when we called. Also, the link to their website takes you to an anabolic steroid website. Weird. Will not be staying here.

Fun and sun

Great park. Some spots are wide open but nicely spaced. A few shade trees and a cover over your table. Lake side is great. Lots of action on the water, great little beach. Clean rest rooms.

RATES Raised 30-54% higher!! For same crap!

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! 30%-54% RATES HIKE!! NOTHING WORKS!! Pool and Hot Tub has been down for 6 MONTHS!!! They tell everyone NEW and Checking in it will be“OPEN SOON!” Hot Water at showers are lukewarm at best in two south sites. Never serviced literally left a bar of soap in a stall just to see...... stayed for 2 WEEKS!! Working for a couple weeks prior but was GROSS TO LOOK AT, LET ALONE PUT YOUR BODY IN.“Drunk people” welcome because you won’t remember your stay anyway! Oh and the Roads look and feel like toddlers made them. BROKEN GLASS ON STREETS AND BEACHES!! If staying awhile you are charged$30. MORE than post office service! Because they feel“entitled” to charge you for doing their jobs that they happily did for free as a service for YEARS AND YEARS!! By the way the office to get your mail is Hardly Ever Open as Advertised! Another Lie! Also cheating you out of non-availablity of service so in turn stealing money of what your supposed to be Paying for now they want MORE MONEY TO NOT OFFER THE SERVICES THEY PROMISE! IN NO WAY WRITING THIS BECAUSE I HAD A BAD DAY OR ANGRY AT ANYONE PERSONALLY.“It’s just business right??” This is clearly a WARNING if it wasn’t the beautiful location! You would be better off in a Ghetto where they try their best to make you happy with the little they have to offer!! These people literally Lie Cheat And Steal!! Steal by offering you amenities to get ya to think your getting a great deal! And NEVER PROVIDING!! Go somewhere else!! I can Promise if you don’t you will say. That post was justified! They claim staffing is short! Yeah cause it’s a internally corrupt system on who is running the show and Her minions are bullying the staff. You won’t see the same face around grounds, store, front check in for long because they can’t keep people staffed because of the MANAGEMENT! If Coaches can’t get teams to the big game or performance improvement.... they are fired and NEW PEOPLE CAN IMPROVE!! This place was literally built then had Muppets run it! Tammy and the Main Office staff are literally PROFESSIONAL LIARS! They lie cheat and STEAL from the Owners! I’ve seen it. I always ask for receipt because they have double charged me on several occasions and only when I pay Cash? SO WHY THE HIKE? probably because people are thieves. Hmmmm. You WILL BE LIED TO AND SMILED AT WHILE DOING SO! I recommend ANYWHERE ELSE in the desert. If you stayed off Grid down the road you would feel better off than here. Don’t believe me read the other BAD Reviews not the snowbirds that get rate breaks for services!

A Beautiful Spot on the Lake

We discided to stop in Lake Havasu for the evening and needed a place, we found Crazy Horse and were blown away with the spot! It was a little pricey but it was last min and we were chasing the sun... so we just did it. It was so nice sitting by the lake and enjoying the beautiful evening. Waking up to the sound of the water on the shoreline was so peaceful! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this spot

One night stay!

Overlanding had us stop here for a night. Such a beautiful spot! Water was beautiful. Mountain back drop was gorgeous. The pebbles in the water were something different to see other then the sand we are use to. Wished we could have stayed a few more nights. Bath houses were older but very clean. Guys running the front were A1!

Worth the price

We stayed here because our 5 year old was ready for a pool after 3 days at the lake. What's better than lake shore access with a pool?

Very welcoming

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating.  We pulled up without a reservation and they had spots available.  The spot they put us in had the neighbors truck parked in it. We didn't want to be confrontational so we asked for a different spot. They gave us a few new spots to choose from. We got set up all the campers around us were very kind. Having the lake right there made for a pleasant evening stroll. It was a nice stay

This place is bad to the bone

so this place is huggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…. but it's super dope!!!!! Bad to freakin bone, talk about lakefront…. so you can have travel trailers, tents, RVs anything and they accommodate you. Bonfires lakefront heck yes they got that, hookups for sure, no hookup but trailer? yes they got that too… loved this place for so many reasons, it was clean and packed but the environment is so fun and chill. if you have a tent they have a wall surrounding the tent areas and you put your tent on soft sand, they do have some covered areas near the lake for day use but trust me they will be taken quickly.

Love this place!!!!!!  Family-friendly and dog friendly

Here are my star ratings based on my lifestyle and what I like. I'm also a mother, dog mama, and a wife so it's not just me it's my crew and i. 1 star- AUTOMATIC relocate… the property is no longer there, trashed or/and I could never have my children there and I wouldn't ever think about staying no matter what. 2 star- Not really my jam, and would NEVER go to again… It probably more of desert life and not really my style for sure…Being from Vegas I can't stand being in the desert and I love the Trees and the Green more than anything. 3 star- Would stay there again in a pinch, but not really my style, the reason its not is because not enough family things to do, the scenery, or the location… but I would go again and feel safe having my kiddos here but only if I needed to in a pinch. 4 star- a really good rating for sure, maybe needed some improvements, minor things like being on top of each other, not a lot of privacy, but honestly little cosmetic things that aren't anything to sweat and would be back again for sure. 5 star- MY FAVORITE… love the location, safety, the surroundings, big camp spots available to fit toys for my kids to play, hammocks to hang, our big family tent, cases of firewood, our suburban or RV, etcccccc….. I would not only come back but would live if I could!!! Anyway thanks for reading and enjoy every moment like it's your last! CHEERS!

Love camping here

We love havasu and this is one of our favorite spots. The grounds are just a little run down. That may even be a bit un fair bit it could use a little spent on infrastructure. Regardless this is our go to place as you can get a site with a dock.

Happy with our stay.

I have been coming here since my parents brought us here. Nice space between RVs. We were here during non holiday time of the year so it was generally quiet. The employees are very nice and helpful. The only thing I would suggest that you need to do is rake the beach area more frequently to keep the debris at a minimum. Other than that I would recommend Crazy Horse RV park.

Lake Havasu fun

We stayed here Father’s Day weekend this year. We had a pull through site close to the lake. We just had to walk across a dirt road and we were on the water. There is a lot of beachfront but make sure to have water shoes. The lake can be rocky in spots. Overall we liked the campground. It can get busy on holidays. It is very close to the channel. Also close to several grocery stores if needed. There is a store on site but can be pricey. Not all sites have a dump station but there are 2 locations on the way out or they have a honey wagon that comes around. The honey wagon has an additional charge. One downside was they charge for everything. Campsite is one charge. You have an extra car and that is a charge. Have a pet? That is a charge etc. they are upfront about it all but it does add up. Even still I would go there again.
