Beautiful spot

Just off of 1-10. Roads are smooth and woke up feeling like we were in the national park.

Small but sweet

Narrow Road in will scratch your vehicle, but it is quiet and the sides are level. Beautiful desert convenient to the interstate. Being near Tucson, planes and cars are sometimes audible, but a great overnight stop. If you’re on the road, I need a good place to camp.

Secluded spot if you can make it here

I did not stay here, but I wanted to check out the area.

First off, I wouldn't recommend any kind of camper come to this area. The road is narrow, and there are trees and scrubs that will scratch your vehicle (my vehicle already has a bunch of scratches). You definitely need a high clearance and maybe 4X4 as the road crosses washes and sand. There are 2 or 3 sites at the beginning of the dispersed area that a small camper could get to, but after .3 miles, the road gets rough and narrow.

Overall, it's a pretty great spot for some tent camping, and I imagine not many people make it out here. I only saw 2 vehicles at the very entrance of the area. So you could get a great secluded spot in the middle of a ton of Saguros if you make the trek out here.

No services. Pack in, pack out. 1 pr 2 bars of Verizon service.
