Accessed via a dirt road off the main route, Charouleau Gap Trailhead Camp sits on Arizona State Land Department property near campsites near Catalina and handles rigs up to at least 23 feet. Sites are dispersed and see heavy use, so arriving with a plan matters. Not every spot has a fire ring, and there are no restroom facilities. Some road noise carries from the nearby main road. Campers wanting hookups or more structure can look at Wishing Well RV Park a few miles away.
