The Dyrt Rangers are a little bit obsessed with their OOFOS sandals and slides.
(Not familiar with The Dyrt Rangers? They’re the top reviewers of campgrounds and outdoor gear on The Dyrt.)
We have over 25 reviews raving about their sport slide sandals and running flip flops, and more than a few conversations on social media have turned to how it feels to wear these cushy foam shoes around the campground. But until recently, OOFOS options have been best suited for summer and mild weather.
This Fall, however, OOFOS is releasing some new lightweight winter boots and shoes that are perfect for colder months. These closed-toe styles have the same special OOFOs foam sole that make their sport slides and flip flops so comfortable, but they offer more coverage for even more coziness.
The Lightweight OOFOS Shoe
Just in time for fall, there’s the OOFOS Shoe, which is totally closed at toe and heel (unlike their clogs). The upper is a soft, breathable mesh that comfortably hugs your foot while still providing lots of ventilation.
Lightweight Winter Boots from OOFOS
What about when it gets really frigid though? That’s where the new OOMG Bootie and Boot come in handy. These lightweight winter boots have a taller profile but the same OOFOS sole. They’re topped with a warm, quilted material that’s treated with durable water repellent (DWR), so you don’t have to dodge puddles or snow.
You can roll the fabric up or down on the tallest boot to create a custom fit depending on the weather and your outfit — or opt for the bootie if you prefer an ankle-height fit.
These new OOFOS styles are cozy and warm and they’re perfect for running slushy errands or drinking hot cider apres ski.
The OOFOS Shoe and OOFOS Winter Boot will both be available this fall.
