The Last Travel Backpack You’ll Ever Need
Released just last week, Peak Design’s aptly named “Travel Line” caught our eye at this year’s Outdoor Retailer trade show. Peak Design is known for best-in-class photography gear, and it was only a matter of time before they brought their expertise to a wider audience. Each product is carefully architected to combine easy access and buy-it-for-life quality. In case that wasn’t enough, their unique design is so different that it actually can confuse and deter thieves.
Peak Design’s 45L Travel Backpack is a worthy addition to any modern explorer’s kit. With side access and one-step conversion to a 30L size, this pack is easily a traveler’s ten-year staple. But this release is about more than just the backpack. The Travel Line is a complete system with modular components, making organization easier than ever. The modular components include “Packing Cubes, Tech Pouch, Camera Cubes, Wash Pouch and Shoe Pouch (sold separately).”

Even though it has many features, every feature has a purpose. Perhaps more importantly, it does not look like it has many features. On the contrary, at first glance its minimal aesthetic makes it look like a pack designed for the fashion-minded traveler rather than the feature-minded traveler.
