Spacious

Premium sites are spacious with picnic tables and fire pits. Easy access to I 80. Flat site

Decent place for a short stop-over

Stayed one night, basically to do laundry in a place with a playground to entertain the kids meanwhile. And this place did the job. There is no charm to the location it self. There is no internet connection at all. Be aware that it is no longer associated with KoA but Applewood.

Nice park but tight spots.

We stayed at The Laramie KOA in August 2021. This is a FHU RV Park which offers a variety of sites including premium extra large pull-thru sites. We opted to save the added expense of the premium sites and stayed at a regular pull thru-site. These sites are very close together which was difficult to negotiate into with our fifth wheel. The sites are so close together that I had my neighbors sewer hose directly in front of my camp chair between my legs. đŸ˜łđŸ‘ŽđŸ» Next time we will opt for a premium site because this is a very nice, well maintained KOA with an excellent staff. There is a nice dog run here and lots of green space to walk dogs. We were able to receive mail here, also. All in all, we would recommend this park and enjoyed our stay here. If you would like to see videos of this park and others, please check out our YouTube channel: Jeff & Steff’s Excellent Adventure.

Pleasant Stay

I was leery about this KOA after reading some reviews, but after arriving I found it very clean & well taken care of. The internet isn’t the best. The staff is very helpful.

Close to the expressway

If you need convenience it is right off the expressway. It is a bit noisy. But very clean and convenient! Nice staff!!

Great Stop for 1 night!

Great stop for 1 night. Had our reservation ready and had no issues. Not somewhere I’d go for long, but nice for a stop along 80!

Clean facility, great staff, interstate noise

This is a clean facility run by friendly staff members. It’s well organized and attractive. The interstate traffic is LOUD and the WiFi is hit or miss. Spaces are quite close together. For the price, I can’t say I feel like it was a bargain, but I did appreciate the flexibility of the location and the people.

Easy and clean

Good spot for a quick overnight- close to the highway, gas, and a short 8 minute drive into Laramie for some good local food and drink. Spots are close together like more KOAs but check in is easy and we were offered a spare site to empty the tank on our way out. Would stay again!

Simple but nice

State parks were full so we stopped over in Laramie. Originally planned on a tent site but once we saw how open the tent space was, we decided to grab a dog friendly cabin instead. It was cozy with air conditioning and a mini fridge. Kind of a weird location between a neighborhood and hotels.. but it did the trick. Nice community fire pit for us to relax next to in the evening. Staff were friendly and helpful and bathrooms were clean.

It was a really nice and really clean campground we stayed in and everyone was very helpful getting us where we needed to be

Travel stopover

This is our first night stop point. Campground is usually pretty full and a lot of rather permanent residents. Close to freeway and a lot of freeway noise at night. Not the most modern restrooms and could be cleaner. But serviceable.

Great one night stay

A great place to stay for one night. The customer service was good and our site was level and clean. The WiFi was not good which is the reason for the lack of stars. We are traveling all day and in remote places so we like to be able to check in with our loved ones when we get to camp.

Quick stop for the night

Good place to stop for the night on the way to someplace else. Pretty easy after-hours check-in. Tent area was empty. For $34 a night I would expect a picnic table. Close to the highway for easy access but also steady low roar of trucks. Clean and well maintained.

Night stop

Needed a stop for the night and this sufficed. The check in without a reservation was smooth and painless. The sites look newly rocked and clean. Our site was full hookup which was convenient. Firepits provided and they looked brand new. Location is off the interstate and you can hear it all night. There is literally not a drop Of shade - i would expect it would be hot as hell in the middle of the rock during the day. Fine for a night - nothing more.

A place to sleep safely

Older clean campground, Laramie is a great small town w all amenities, the campground provides necessities and a place to stay for night, would not want to stay more than a night, its clean. They are adding new section, it is next to two mobile home parks and freeway. Wifi was pathetic.

Beautiful

Checked in early evening but could still see the Snake River from our lot. Plenty of people out enjoying the evening stroll to the river & fishing. Extremely clean restrooms and bathhouse, always a plus! Beautiful sunrise! Staff was very helpful in accommodating our 65 ft set up!

Along interstate 80

Over nice Guest services— dog run, small fitness center, shop, playground, laundry, Wi-fi, cable. Those running the KOA - were very helpful and pleasant. Sites are pretty small- our slide hung over the picnic table and if someone was next to us with slides might have been very tight. Little noisy by the interstate but we had one of the sites next to it. Doesn’t bother me and was to be expected. Overall good place to just stop for the night.

Good stopover on our way home from Yellowstone

Close to the highway and the University of Wyoming.. Clean restroom facilities, friendly staff, and nice camp store. Only negatives were the campsites were a bit small, though we were on the end of an aisle and we only had a pop up) and the WiFi signal was pretty weak.
