Beautiful campground in perfect location

This place is really well-run. It is pristine, close to everything (including Yellowstone entrance and town). You could even walk into town if you wanted. There’s a good dog walk area (but avoid the sites adjacent if you don’t want your dog greeting every dog passing). It was packed full and still felt adequately spaced. Will absolutely be back.

It’ll do

A good option with other Teton campgrounds full, but close-packed and quite full, as expected this time of year. Nice location, a spot of cell service, a playgroundand a gas station on site. Would stay again but not for a long period of time if I have another option.

Easy and clean

Good spot for a quick overnight- close to the highway, gas, and a short 8 minute drive into Laramie for some good local food and drink. Spots are close together like more KOAs but check in is easy and we were offered a spare site to empty the tank on our way out. Would stay again!

Hidden Gem

It’s all about the town… the campground is really just a nice shady grassy area with electric hookups. We were the third camper there and it was plenty spacious. There are picnic tables and local police made occasional rounds. Bathrooms but no showers or water hookups (water available across the pedestrian bridge at the museum). The museum though! It’s fantastic. The town is a nice walk into town and the people were so friendly. We will purposefully find every opportunity to return!

Beautiful views friendly host

We stayed for a quick night en route north. The host left the gate code for us since we arrived after 9 and checked on us in the morning. Site B14 was a pull through with an actual deck looking out on the lake. It was beautiful and easy to set up in the dark, fit our RPod and a truck easily. Clean bathrooms, lots of wildlife. Trash in the fire pit and the water was hard to turn on but those were minor issues. Would stay there again.
