Laramie RV Resort

With reservations available and full hookups at every site, Laramie RV Resort operates as a gravel-lot campground within Laramie city limits. The facility provides electric, water, and sewer connections along with paved internal roads, though reviewers note the access road can be rough. Sites are closely spaced, and many guests stay long-term.

The campground includes premium sites equipped with picnic tables, chairs, and BBQ smokers. A small on-site store stocks basic supplies, and individual mailboxes serve extended-stay residents. Cell service runs 2-3 bars on Verizon 5G networks, while WiFi exists but lacks strength for heavy usage. The property has minimal tree cover and sits on open terrain near water features.

Bathroom facilities stay clean with hot showers available. Tony D. confirms "Hot showers bathroom are clean." A small enclosed dog area occupies the rear section of the park. The location provides easy access to Laramie's restaurants and the University of Wyoming campus. Campers seeking additional options can explore camping near Laramie.

Book ahead during busy periods, as the compact layout fills quickly with both overnight travelers and long-term residents.

Guests commonly noted reliable hookups and clean facilities, making it suitable for overnight stays. A handful of reviews cited cramped spacing and mixed staff experiences, but most found it adequate for basic needs.

Good overnight stay

Stopped here for an overnight only. Had no reservation but they had space available with full hook ups. Looks like every space is pull thru. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a previously KOA site, so infrastructure is in place. Two.sections, the original and a larger new section with more space between sites. See pictures. Bathroom clean but in need of updating. Wifi available and works well. AT&T cell service 3 bars LTE inside camper but 2 bars 5G outside.

Good Respite from a Windy Drive

Was not planning to stop in Laramie, but the wind got to me! Pulled over here and was lucky to find a spot out of the wind.

Did go into town to check out the college town of Laramie and wanted to see if there was any tribute to Matthew Shepard--the college student who was killed there for being gay. Did find one small tribute on the college campus.

Good food in town. Enjoyed my stay. Glad I stopped.

Okay notngreat

Its in town so close to alot of stuff. Full hook ups. They also have premium sites with a nice table and chair with a BBQ smoker. They have mailboxes and a little campground store. Its location is nothing special just a gravel lot with paved roads. You are packed in like.sardines and alot of people living here long term. If you got something to do in the area and are only sleeping here, it could work as a base camp. 2-3 bars verizon 5g

Clean affordable available

I decided to stay here while a spring winter storm blew through. Making the reservation was easy. Then when I arrived they were helpful in showing me where my site was. The grounds seem clean and tidy. It was sub zero temperatures so the fact that I didn’t hear a peep from any of the many rigs here may not be a good indicator, but I am enjoying the quiet! Small enclosed dog area in the rear of the park. Note: WiFi available but it’s not strong enough for much.

DO NOT STOP HERE!

DO NOT STOP HERE!!!! Save your money for a different rv park.

The Manager, Hope, is in desperate need of customer service training.

The“resort” is a run down old KOA so do yourself a favor and keep driving.

We left early due to poor customer service and horrible accommodations.

An Overnight Stop

Nothing to write home about...adequate for an overnight.  Water, sewer and electric was all we needed.  The location is bare of any trees.  WiFi was poor

New owner – previously Laramie KOA

Good place to stop for the night on the way to Boulder Colorado. We had made our reservation many months before while it was still a KOA. We had picked this location because it was on our route and would allow us to reach Boulder early the next morning. The staff was quite friendly and facilities well maintained. Our site was small but being separated by a short wall was private enough.
